Textures are a little over stretched (especially on the pagoda) and the grain is in the wrong direction on the angled supports on the pagoda. Also I'm not too sure if the rope (chain??) would actually work well attached to the seat arms on the swing?? Normally it would attach to the front and back of the seat.

Other than that nice job Myke

cool stuff, that rocking chair reminded me of that video on youtube where it shows that chair rocking back and forth, then it shows some ugly girl and a loud scream follows.

Nice homage to Heltor shame you forgot to flip when you mirrored the Heltor Tyres (or tires for Americans :p )

Yea, thats were I need to learn more. The texture on the tire was like that to start. I add the letters. I will use this as an example for UV mapping and redo the texture over completly. and will get it right. Ha Ha. But now I have to go to the real world, to my job.

Let me know how it goes. and your welcome. I'll start the crib next. any paticular color? or style?

OK the crib can be done.

Hour glass can be done, but the animated sand might be more than FPSC can handle.
Plus I am trying to loop the animations or have a reason the player can interact with the entity.
give me a senerio for a usage on the hour glass. You can email this if it is part of a WIP or a project Idea. Please make the subject line descriptive as I will have to fish your first email out of the junk folder.

I might have to pick your brain on that one. I downloaded your garage door and tried to look at the X-file from both of the files. I have not made sense of that yet. But thats is an awsome garage door.

hi,

I wonder if it is possible to make toilet with flashing animation
and sink with animated cocks and water? Maybe incoming animated decals or real water enable this... or vashing machine with vash animation?

@Mr Game:

Im sure these could be done. Water will probaly have to be a decal.

@NBT:

He is asking for his WIP 'Insomnia is coming'. There is a web site, with some stuff on it. Not to much shown at the moment.

Well see where this goes for him.

Links are working now for animated models.

I just downloaded all your models while making a reply to another topic referring to this one.

Got some crits:

Some of the models use way too many bones than required, with lots doing nothing at all.
The swing Chair is the worst of the lot with 68 bones doing the job that two would have done. The safe is the next worst and so on.

Many are way too high polygon in my opinion:

Tyre Swing = 624 poly
Baby Rocker = 1118
Rocking Chair = 4137
Swing Chair = 2008
Safe = 568 (which is not too bad really)

The baby rocker has some bad stray faces/backfaces over rear of the roof part.

The rocking chair has reversed vertex order on the arms so the faces are inverted.

I did not intentionally use any bones in any of these. These are what MAX must put in on its own. I just adjusted pivet points placement and did some basic rotations with auto keyframe on.

All of these were starter practice and posted for free.

I am working with rigging tutorials for the past few weeks, to get a better handle on all this stuff.

Things are moving along, But thanks for the crits
Have a long way to go yet.

Here is a max tutorial on rigging with no bones. Very well explained.

http://cgswot.com/tutorials/3d-tutorials/131-22-rigging-without-bones.html

This is how I did mine, But I did not even use the dummies. But I probaly should for good animation practice.
