There was still a link on the boards? I thought he took them down? In any case, thanks for the link, this is exactly what I was looking for.

EDIT: I found the culprit, I remembered that I had updated AVAST to the new version right after I had attempted this. On a hunch, I reverted it back to its previous state, and the issue has cleared and running happily on 1.18 beta 5. Not exactly sure why AVAST would affect the program like so. Sorry for the false alarm.
In case you're confused the problem i'm referring to is below still if any of you guys start having the same issue perhaps
----------------------------------------------------------------
On the (frustrating) side.
FPSC is once again showing me why I stopped bothering with it a while back. Not even the dignity of giving the same error as before, but an entirely new problem.
(I seem to have this magnet for FPSC bugs)
After downloading this...
http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=97574&b=24
After trying to place it in the editor, it gave the typical invalid parameter error I've seen before.
On trying to re-run FPSC, it tells me this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
FPSC-MapEditor.exe - Application Error
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I've cleared the registry of anything FPSC, uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh copy. It runs fine with vanilla V1.0
The moment i update to ANY new version (1.15,16,17,18) It gives the same error.
It's isolated to both Mapeditor.exe and FPSCgame.exe
The rest of the applications within work fine Screens, interface, this, GUIx9 thing.
Any thoughts?
Still looking into a solution, and hope I can get this little nuisance out of the way.
I will continue to work on the content that does not require the engine for the time being
Thanks for listening.
Cheers!
