Hello.

My editor, This is a map editor, is now powerfully updated.
I have a WORKING version of it now. thou it is just a demo you need to register to get the full version, but you cant yet.

I need testers, tell me what you think about it and tell me a price you think its worth. I was thinking on 0.5$ for LITE version and 2.0$ for PRO version. but someone I know said that was too cheap.

I have also had some thoughts on giving it out for free, but I also want to have a competition, where the 5 best gets a free copy. that compo would be on my forums then.

anyway, screenshots and demos are here: (including some addons)
http://www.tiame.tk

thanks and I hope you like it.

It looks awesome, certainly more than $2 worth!. I think $10 is a good price for shareware, and it should sell given how much it can do - there's a lot of demand for a all-in terrain and object placement editor.

Good luck, hope you make much money when it's released.

unafortinatley it can not edit matrices.
but you can load heightmaps
load a matedit .mdf or a magic world .mwdb matrix file

but I think I will add some matrix editing support later.

right now I am trying to find bugs.

so please tell me here if you find any.

its me n0id!

I can't even reach your site. Seems .tk has that issue.

if you have problems with tk, try the original adress:

http://www.home.no/n0id2

and if you are having problems starting it, you must close all other programs, or maybe restart your computer, becoue you need 424mb free pagefile memory.

edit:

I have uploaded an upgrade to v2.01 because I noticed there where some problems with copying and some other stuff.
and I have started on the sound entity thing now, so it is just a beta for now. will be finished in 2.02 (I hope)

its me n0id!

thanks!

it has now been downloaded 44 times, but almost noone replies. the reason I posted it here was (to show my work) to have someone test it for me. are there not any bugs? I have found lots of bugs allready that I am fixing for the next version. and the sound thing is not yet finished so that does not count. please I need to know, maybe you find some I dont find.

anyway glad you guys like it.

dude, really.. I am not sure yet if it will be free or if youd have to pay for it. but I guess if I sell it and the buyer get his key, he can easily give it to anyone here at the foru, so everyone gets a free copy anyway. this has been into my head for quite a long time now and I am still not sure if I should sell it. man you cant even buy it yet and I did just figure out that my credits card can not be used online, im only 17 and I must be 18 to get a card that can be able to order stuff and sell stuff over the net. man that suck and Im almost convinsed now that it will be free but perhaps tomorrow I might change my mind again and you have to pay for it.

but now the new demo is out (probably very buggy) and you can now save your world. http://www.tiame.tk is the adress and you can go get it. (upgrade 2.01b)

ps. if I sell it I can have competitions, but noone comes to my board anyway, so its not fun. ok. if I get enough votes I can make it free. im not sure I say 70% yes and 30% no.. (well its quite obvious that I say yes, but there is this thing in my head that says no..)

[edit]
isnt it possible to create polls?

ok, thanks I will use it (I think).

5.0$ is 50 cents? I thought it was 5 dollars...

@ Mister mold rat: He said before that he's not sure he's going to sell it or not. Also he only has a demo out so he's not making any money, which you have to have to get a domain name. The reason people are hoping to sell their games and/or programs is most likely that theuy want to get their names ouyt there and be recognized for their work. Basically the people that are buying the programs are telling the company or people that they like there program.

Although it would be better if these products were free, it is our own choice on how we distribute them. "You get what you pay for" - paying for a product generally suggests it is of a very high standard. [Free ones are usually good too though!]

Then it won't sell.

Not working?

Time and effort(it's something).

Some people can't get a job and a job could be selling games.

You might have the option to(if you chose to buy a product).
