Here is my socom pistol it will be free, but it will not be fpsc ready. Maya is still fidgity and I havent been able to export so I will give you the obj and if someone will animate it then they can gladly give it away on this thread. The liscense is: It is free for non comercial games because I am puting it in my comercial game. So do not put it in a commercial game.

Ok the model is made of multiple textures. So I will post a zip in a sec with them sorry. Also there are a few issues with the model and the texture. So I will post the fixed model and the textures soon.

Yea don't pick a texture and assign it in your modeler. Also you need rc3 update.

Here is the new download. Its a zip with the model and the textures. The trigger and the connector on the supressor are not uv mapped so just make a new shader and make it gray that matches the rest. Also the gun is very low poly enough for the vweap. Its only 576 tris. If you are using maya it will import as 1 mesh so do polygons->seperate to set it up as it should be. So here is my firt contribution YAY!

On hud weapons we could have multible textures before with V1, but not for entities.

Ok so does that maean it will not work as a vweap in rc3 or are you just stating that about v1. Also enimies or entitieies.
EDIT: sorry ok the slide is split from the gun but if you use the texture group that is allready assigned to it and just change the texture then it will texture the top and bottom of the gun

CUt scenes, it's wicked to see you making progress in Maya, this is a really nice bit of work. Do you mind if I have a play with the .obj file, and maybe try and get it FPSC ready?

Awesome! That would be sweet if you made it fpsc ready. Also glad for the support. Im gonna learn to animate soon and then I will be able to make my own stuff fpsc ready. Wee! Also I have great news as far as I can tell the october .x sdk's exporter works. I'm not sure so don't upgrade yet, but exporting with textures and everything worked just fine.
