Hi

In issue 42 of the Newsletter there where some talks about
Sketch Up support in upgrade 6.2

...correct me if I'm wrong, but there was also an example code
some where showing how to load a sketch up model into DB Pro,
without any ConvSEO plug-in.

Please show me this code example... I can't find it.

I need to test some spaceship models from Sketch Up.

The article in the newsletter was talking about supporting the .3DS exported models from SketchUp Pro in DBPro. ConvSEO is required to load models created in the free version.

Drakir,

ConvSEO lets you load models from both Google SketchUp (free) and SketchUp Pro. In the case of Pro you can load the OBJ files that are exported.

I can not say for sure, but it is my understanding that the 3DS export from SketchUp Pro has some issues. I certainly encourage you to experiment with it, and let us all know how it works.
