I posted here a couple of times, but this time i am not only going to tell you about the £1 package, but i also want suggestions from you people (please).

So.. i have introduced a package for £1/month. Its very basic, but its good for a page redirect, etc.. and is providng quite popular. It has also been used for a lot of hobby sites. Check it out here: http://bladehost.net/hosting/super_lite.htm - see what you think.

Other packages have been modified slightly too.

Now...
I would REALLY appreciate some suggestions on the site look and feel, and also on the packages and prices, etc.

Cheers people.

Hehe-- last time I visited, the site wasn't nearly as advanced, although I liked it anyways (proves that you can always improve, I suppose). Right now it looks just plain brilliant. (That's UK, isn't it? You people are corrupting me!) I can't really offer any critisism... but the £1 plan does look attractive...

Wait, I'm sorry, 1 gb of bandwidth? That isn't right at all!

But could someone explain to me what one "J" is in American money?

For a plan that cheap, it's pretty good . Go look at what the free sites offer-- especially space-wise! And that's not even bringing ads and unreliability into play.

1GB is more than enough.

My companies site got 31524 hits last month and used 242.477257 MB of bandwidth.

Its for all our email too, and has 2 domains parked there, so 1GB is more than enough unless you plan to host loads of big files.

See you all around.

How about a metal feel? A curved bar at the top with all the links,
a metal backround and red text.

Maniac: We cant currently register the domains ourself (we will be doing soon), but there are many cheap registrars out there. So long as there is some way to change the domains nameservers to point to our server (either by emailing them, or by a control panel), then you can be sure it will work.

Why not try UKREG.com for .uk domains? They are fairly cheap.
As for the hosting, I can knock a little off the price for you if you would like a package (cannot really do any deals for the Super Lite package though, for obvious reasons, lol).

Just let me know if your interested, and mention where you are from (these boards). I am on MSN: msn@db-pro.co.uk, or you can email me at: mike@bladehost.net.

Cheers

how long will it be until you do domains since i dont want to have multiple accounts.. I might just use your hosting with whatever adress it would be and get the domain when ur ready to offer them. atm tho im designing the site and I dont like how its going. I thought I would call it the DarkbasicPro Matrix since it will be a place for downloading maps and various other media, and i have made a gif with the matrix numbers effect and a nice shockwave heading only it still looks horrible, because the main site doesnt blend. im working on it but with exams + work i dont think ill have much time. + i need to learn mysql since you offer it, i may aswell use it.

Hi!

We are unsure as to when we will be offering domains. It could be a month, it could be two months -- then again, it might only be a couple of weeks.

If we confirm a date soon, i shall let you know ASAP.

Cheers.

Providing the registrant allows you to change the DNS host, they won't have a problem doing it!, just stay away from oneandone

Hehe yeah.. quite a few of our clients had trouble with One And One, so eventually i directed them to UKREG.

Damn oneandone, lol
