Darkbasic converts any black in an image to transparent, so whatever you want transparent, make it RGB(0,0,0)

Ahh, thanks. I was wondering why I couldnt see some of the borders of the sprites I did.. That kinda sucks you can't make colors transparent tho.

Maybe you could make colors transparent if you went into your graphics editor and made very tiny black dots within the colors so that some of it will be able to see through but completely transparent. Just a thought, i don't know if it will work or not

Yep, that's called dithering. It looks a wee bit pixelly, but it does the job when you absolutely need (fake) partial transparency and ghosting won't do the job nicely.
