First, thanks to Jacob, for posting that here. I'm Menter, the game director,
I'm making everything with the FPS Creator, thanks for The Game Creators too.

First, The Staff of our creation:

Rodrigo S. (Webmaster, Beta-Tester, Screenshot guy)

Now the history of the game:

Deathmask, tells about a serial killer, that poisons people, so they get stunned,
and they be turned into rotten strong humanoids. Zack (You), is called to investigate
a house in a city called Ron's Hell, at this house you find a rotten scientist humanoid,
carrying 2 knifes, of course, you were with guns, to protect yourself from any danger.

After that, you go to the Ops Lab, where they study the corpse of same "monsters".

There is a girl-droid called Aiko, that controls all the lab with her mind. In a
huge computer room called Aikyo 19. She also knows how to protect the lab, she controls
sentry guns and all things in lab, Ops never had a light problem.

The rotten humanoids had turned alive again, they've destroyed Aikyo 19 and Aiko,
scis had to reconstruct Aiko, making a droid called Aiko I. and the system Aikyo 20.

The creatures are out from Ops now, will they spread the rotten curse? There is a
way to know that? There is a way to stop that? Maybe. Armed forces can't stop them as they
get bitten by those creatures.

The plague is going on, but there's only one way to stop them.

Killing the font.

Deathmask is coming. Soon 2007.

other notes:i am not menter i am jacob one of the beta testers i have attached a few screenies for you to view this game will have similar mechanics to half-life2 and i think you guys should really like it expect a demo in mid march and the final version to be released in september/october of 2007 just the final version of the game will be free but the director's cut will be avalible with a t-shirt but we are still debating how much the director's cut will be and how much it will include. p.s check screenies!!!

Sounds pretty cool. I'll download your demo.
Also search for blood overlay and downloa blooddeaths blood overlays.
It will help.

well the screen shot is nothing special, no new media same entitys. but keep working and improving it.

[sarcasm]Yea, i heard bloodeaths blood overlay pack comes in handy, but im not sure ive never used it [/sarcasm]
But really i have to agree with Jams38, but you know you cant come to the fpsc community and post demos with stock media because we've all seen it, but say post it on like the frihost community and you'll get alot different responses, because theyve never seen it. you know what i mean?

don't worry about media MenteR is defitanly not abandoning this project. and as of media we promise atleast once a update evry month and expect a trailer this week.

Hmm, I really don't like the way you have based the story around the stock media, it should be the other way around.

You mean it has the FPSC physicsc system. There was no point saying that to try and interest us, we all have FPSC, and have the system ourselves.

The screeny looks bland, no lightmapping, and stock media. Make some custom content, we've seen it all before.

paul122. when i said similar mechanics to half-life2 i meant gameplay the way the story is and the man you are trying to kill in the game is very similar to the g-man. and were not basing the whole project around media were making media cause we want to give you a taste of what is to come and obviously we no that fpsc looks nothing like half-life2 :p.

Thanks for every1 for postin there, ah, and I'll make the expansion if the game finishes good. The expansion "Deathmask: Project Aiko"

Well, I'll tell about the Deathmask, there will be some spoilers too, ah, and my pc didn't get the light and everything. It's messed up, like Jacob said.

The game will have all the Model Packs, at least I think this is good.

So, there will be 16 kinds of "zombies" in the game:

1. HW
2. Weapon Carrier (gets any weapon in map)
3. Pistol Zombie
4. MP5 Zombie
5. Tommygun Zombie
6. Knife Carrier
7. Zombie Scientist
8. Zombie Medic (the fast one)
9. Zombie Civilian (meele)
10. Zombie Medic - Weapon Carrier
11. Zombie Cop
12. Zombie Grenader
13. Zombie Nurse (fast as zombie medic)
14. Super Zombie
15. Zombire (just like gonome in half-life, this will be the most evolved)
16. Poison Spread Zombie

In the Chapter 3 (Operation Cleanup) of the game, armed forces (in game they are called Special Arms), will make the Cleanup, trying to kill everyone that knows about the zombie spread. There are the enemies you'll find in this chapter:

1. Special Arms - Weapon Carrier (gets any weapon, just like the zombie)
2. Special Arms - MP5
3. Special Arms - Grenader
4. Special Arms - Pistol
5. Special Arms - HW (Hard to kill, you'll find like 3 in this chapter)
6. Special Arms - Silent Arm (the spies lol)
7. Special Arms - Anti-Plague (got minigun, but same HP as Special Arms - MP5)
8. Thug (Thugs go and get any weapon they can, but they got only 40 HP, you'll probably find them on the start)

PS: You'll also find the Special Arms on the Chapter "City Action", where you fight vs zombies and soldiers in Metropolis.

Well... that's it.

BUGS FOUND ON DEMO VERSION.

It seems some bugs (jumping walls, zombies with no waypoint) has been found on Deathmask Demo.

The Demo now will be at the last days of March... Stay tune for it!

I like the story, but the use of stocked media makes me sick.

Guys, FPSC gave us stock media so we could use it, not all people know where to get products that will let them create their own textures and characters and stuff, that's why we should start focusing our judgment on the story, game-play, and how much time and effort was put in to making the scene look good.
