G4fan's second music pack!!

I have made another 7 awesome songs for my next music pack that, yes, is free. They all range from 31 sec. to the longest at 5 min. They are:

Assassination (1:28)
Funkier than Billy (0:50)
Special Synthesizer Mix (0:37)
The Chase (1:55)
The Time is Now (5:15)
The Time is Now-Reprise (2:02)
Victory (0:31)

Just to let everyone know, all my packs will be free. Attached is a demo of the pack. The actual pack will be released March 5th. It'll be in .mp3. This next pack contains songs that more people will end up using. Most of these songs have more compatibility for an FPS game.

Anyone who has ideas for my next music pack, post here. Believe me, I'm willing to entertain suggestions. I was actually thinking of doing a miscellaneous pack. Who thinks it's a good idea?

Enjoy!!

Best of Luck,
G4fan

Good job! Some of them were good, some of them (like the first techno one) changed instruments a bit too fast and seemed a bit off beat, or just random.

Gone: Coming soon! Check it out in the showcase!

Can you give me specifics? The demo went in order with the songs listed.

Thanks.

This is just my opinion. But shouldn't this be in Models and Media? I mean there's no screeny, and he's giving away free MEDIA.

I think it's fine right here...and you can't see music so it's really hard to take a screenshot of it.

Lol...I'd just listened to the sample. Not that it matters, but track six or whatever...lol...Didn't copy Pachelbel's canon exactly or nothing did ya..hehe. Didn't look at the key but it would be the same progression as 'D/A/Bm/F#m/G/F#m/D/A'

Don't fret it though. It's a tried and true progression. Heres a lil vid to ease your copyright worries-

Isn't that why it would be in Models and Media? It makes no sense to be in here. Oh well, not that it matters.

Cool music pack!

Locrian I had no idea that I was using it. I does sound a lot like it. I did use other medodys (ones that go a lot slower and it doesn't sound like the original meldody).

Jenkins I put this in Showcase because I am showing what I've done. I get what you mean, though.

FredP Really? Darn! As soon as I can get around to it, I'll fix it. There's always something wrong, isn't there? Scince people might make requests, I'll be forced to hold off some, if that's the case.

All Can anyone give me suggestions for my next pack? I'm not trying to sound rude, I just would like some suggestions. Any advice would be appreciated.

Best of Luck,
G4fan

Well I can only say If you'd like to end up seeing some of your music in SinninSoul, I need to hear some heavy guitar work. Goto the Bloodrayne2 site:http://www.bloodrayne2.com/news.php- and download there music zip.....If you can make something similar to that, I'd actually use someone from this forums music.

Yeah I know it's kinda a selfish request, and the music I picture in Sinnin isn't for everyone(probably why no one makes it), but I cant see synth crap over the top of my dark story line.

I can't say what other people need....I can only say what "I" need.

PS- Don't fret the music man...I was just laughing. I heard that bass melody line, and I was like Pachelbel strikes again. Meant it as a joke man......

You guys should consider using "Ambush" and its remix from my last pack. It might be able to work for what you want.

Locrian I can fill your request, let me sign up first, hold on.

*later*
All right. I'm in. It seems there is a lot of music downloads. Which one do you want me to listen to?

*later than before*
Did you mean the medley thing before you enter the music downloads?

All right. I'll check it out.

*later*
Yeah, I could make something along those lines. Just give me about two weeks or so. Say on the 23rd, a Friday. I just need to know how long you want the song and what key you want it in, it's beats per measure, and its tempo.

And when I finish the song, do you want me to just e-mail it to you?

Best of Luck,
G4fan

Start out small. Say a 10-20 second loop

key Fmajor (something in a D minor, the full step lower then the standard tuning of A @440mhz). Maybe a standard 12 bar blues progression switching I, IV, V progression.

4/4

Tempo really depends on your composition. Suprize me. Not needing Speed metal. Just heavy, so could be from 60- 130. Wouldn't go above 130 less it's pulling eigth notes or even quarters. Pull the inspiration from those tracks....

Sure emails fine
Lets see what cha got bro
Peace.

Here it is guys. I am sorry it took so long.

Remember, as promised to Jenkins my next music thread will be in the Models and Media section.

*edit*
Apparently, I have too many songs in my ziped up file. This is only half the songs in my pack.

Yes! I've found the issue!

This was the one song that was to large to be zipped up.

Moderators Can anyone of you guys tell me how large a file can be so I can successfully upload it to the forums? Thanks.

Sorry...again.

You might get away with uploading a 5 or 10 MB file but to my knowledge nobody has uploaded a large file.
Your best best is to upload it somewhere like Filefront or another file hosting place and then post the link to it on the forums.

Yeah, I have know about them. I had some trouble with them last time.

Remember...
Quote: "Is there some way I can get in contact with someone at filefront?

Why does it say that I uploaded "preview.mp3" twice?

How come when I sign in, I go to my page, and nothing shows under "SeanDarcy's Files"?

Why is there no help screen on Filefront.com?

Why do I need to go through 10-11 pages to delete a file?

Why can't I modify a file?

How come I have to re-log in every time I visit a new page?

How come when I try to upload, something, it takes me back to the home page?

How come no one else ever had these problems?

So, now you see where I'm coming from. I'll be glad when this whole thing is over!"

Sorry, Filefront. You just didn't work for me.
