Sorry about this, but could you post a quick message on DBDN for me (specifically in the off-topic forum, in the 'Giff, Danny, Sheldon, Insider etc..' thread) to let them know my DBDN membership ran out and I won't be able to renew for a while.

Cheers.

Conrad.

Whoa, I didn't twig Conrad. How are we gonna finish 'it' without you?

I thought it had been a bit quiet lately.

I'll post it, and we'll find a way to work it out.

Conrad: Elleomea has volunteered his site forum for us to switch to. Go to the Myrmidia.com, select the forums link and register, then send an email to Elleomea. Look forward to speaking to you soon.

Mouse: I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you ... or get Raven to do it with his gun collection

Okay, tell me, then Raven can try . I'd bet my right hand that I have a bigger home security system (read: lots of defence guns) than he can possibly lug around

Hehe, now there's a challenge for him. How far out is your perimeter fence? He'll get you in the eye from a thousand yards

lmao it does doesn't it
though just outta interest, where'd the topic of home security (or rather me breaking into mouses home) come into this?

ya know i have an IR Scope for my P90s ... they have an effective range of around 1300m (firing range tested) - and i have an accuracy of .82 so, erm i could take you out from a distance i suppose.
but could someone explain why u would be?

Looks like you got yourself an assassin, IanM . With a range that long, I suppose you better not tell me .

On the other hand, I am a good friend of a freelance weapons designer, and he has an anti-aircraft turret planted onto his roof (although it works just fine for other purposes) . I suppose I could lock myself in there and we'd be at a stalemate

On the other hand, I don't think living my life as a hermit would be worth the knowledge of what 'it' is... so don't tell me, please!

MrTAToad: It's not illegal, unless I involve my chipmunks - just don't ask

Mouse: What the hell is he doing with an AA turret on his house? And what other purpose could it be for? You're all nutters over there

what i wanna know is ... they won't even allow me to keep over a .45 calibre weapon for personal use - how they hell did he legally get the FDA to approve what must be atleast a 20mm cannon on his roof?

There's loads of paperwork involved, but it is both possible and legal . Actually, I dunno if he still has it, it's been years. But he certainly did last time, along with *loads* of guns and ammo and all sorts of other firearm equipment. He's a good weapons designer .

Personally, I don't understand why he dosen't just retire already... the paperwork must be a nightmare... or maybe he LIKES it . Odd to think it'd be possible. Don't we all hate paperwork?
