This is a list of the fixes that the beta testers are testing, if all goes well then it will be made public.

• Scrolling is now smoother and faster
• Function folding is now in
• Intellisense does not work in comments
• New options to choose what Synergy Editor should do on startup
• New options on what case (upper, lower, mixed) Synergy Editor should use when doing things for you
• Moved precompiler list to its own options page
• Certain IDE's like to leave file handles open on the syntax files, and so the rebuild keywords method now checks to see if it can access them
• Block indentation and outdentation (sp? 
• Forum links in help menu

John Y,

Thanks for the link, and for informing me of this project. Really like the sharp professional look and feel of the IDE. Everything feels so intuitive. I'll comment further after I run it through all of it's paces, but I am liking what I see thus far. Should help ease the time of development for my projects

impressive!

Received most recent version today and I must admit that it looks wonderful. It is becoming more and more like a final product.

Yeah it's coming along nicely. Just those few things I mentioned in the IM conv. and I will most likely be moving over to this full time.

Synergy crashes every time I open it and choose whether or not to ignore multiple keywords.

I can get it to run if I hit cancel but I have to do this every time it loads.

I've decided to hold off releasing a version at the moment, instead I am focusing on applying some aesthetic touches. Mistrel provided some great feedback on some little niggles, so I am working through those also.

Here are some screenshots of the latest version.

Clicking 'Go To Definition' will highlight the line declaring the type, function or variable.

Hi John!

This is what i'm going to do!

I own Synergy IDE already, and i want to give a try a start using Synergy Editor too. What i'm going to do is stop using Synergy IDE for now and start using Synergy Editor. I donwload the yesterday(june 30) version and put the executable on "Program Files\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional Online\Editor", make a backup of the original editor.exe on that folder and renamed the Synergy Editor.exe to editor.exe and start coding. So everytime i start darkbasic Synergy editor start up. I wish you put me in the beta testers list.

I was about to try my hand at some basic vehicle code in Dark Physics and to make the code simple for others to view I intended to make the wheels and axles using a variation of capsules. This code was written by Chis K.

The following code compiles & runs fine in the standard editor but using synergy editor it compiles but does not run

other projects compile and run fine with this editor

Thanks in advance

Hi John, I really like the editor, it's fast, small and works quite well. However, I've noticed that the replace dialog wont let you do a replace on just the selected text.
