why the hell does everything i do with sprites always end up going weird?

when the bullet hits the ghost it is meant to make the ghost freeze, but one in ten times it doesn't work! Any suggestions

When you delete a sprite and remake it, it sometimes stops taking part in collsiions - im not sure why
To solve it simply hide the sprites off screen that you are not using and then show them again.
Of course if you arent deleting any sprites then something else is wrong.

Just do like you would with 3D and make a function to make a sprite collision box. Use sprite width and stuff to find the edges.
