i'm havign a problem with darkbasic.... it won't even start up. everytime i try and start it, the cursor changes to the DB hourglass and the screen goes black but then it freezes. When i check the task manager it says all my memory is being used but i don't have this problem with anything else. I have windows 2000 and its a pretty good computer. Does anyone know what's wrong????

Post details of graphics card and full spec.

I have a Win 2000 PC with an ATI card that won't run DB. I also have a Win98 PC with a software based graphics card that won't run DB

Thanks in advance.

I also have a win200 pc with an ATI card (all-in-wonder rage 128). DB works fine, but only when I install the most recent driver from the ATI website...

That's also something what you might try, babOlat2006 ; installing your latest video card driver

thats funny,i ALSO have win2000 and ati7000, but mine has always worked. i suspect it has something to do with how your video adapter is set up. good luck

delete the startup folder

edit the 'run' and 'load' lines of your win.ini
there always loads of programs which can load secretly from there!

I don't know i can't tell!
I push the button and run like hell!
