On this picture you can see the intruded areas that make the polycount fly up along with the barrel hole.

You mean Revolver Ocelot's gun,I'd hardly say it was the inspiration but my thoughts were around it when I decided to make it...I mean, you just can't forget that traitor don't you?

Still,I wanted to have the most common weapon of the time which was it...Although it did weigh alot, cowboys used them more than any other guns and carried them on their horse saddle's gun pocket as often as possible...and I wanted to make a cowboy's gun,not just a farwest one.

'Curly' Bill Brocius used one too.

nah that gun is probably no more that 250polygons, i wouldn't worry too much about it.
personally i think all the old west guns cept the winchester were just ugly

but then i prefer the P-90 and such, so i think you can understand my taste in weaponry.

If you want a non-obvious revolver to model, look at the Smith and Wesson handguns (eg. the 686), they're very cool. I find the old fashioned revolvers a bit skinny looking, like when you were a kid and your playing cowboys and indians, I'd rather go an indian than have one of those chrome plastic toy revolvers - too cheesy.
