when i compile programs i always seem to see this file called "thumbs.db". What is it, is it safe to delete it? It also appears when i do Blitz Basic programs.

I thought it might have something to to with dark basic because of its file extentsion of DB (DarkBasic)
I don't know i can't tell!

Nothing to do with us. It's a WindowsXP thing - it means you're using Explorer in Thumbnail view. That's the little cache file of the thumbnails. If you don't want it, don't browse in thumbnail view or just erase it (but it'll get re-created every time you view that directory in thumbnail mode again).

Cheers,

Rich
