Good news! I've been working on my 3D Modelling skills in Blender, and hopefully, I'll soon have a human as the player instead of a box

The standard wolf cub, bear, rabbit, etc. Most RPG's have them.

I'm currently working on a wolf cub. Need to learn how to animate it though

It is all to do with bones, or armatures. You need to place one and keep pressing E to get more bones and then you animate it or you can go to a alternative and buy Milkshape.

These categories represent .01% of the total amount of work to be done. The first 4 are all the same category, and 5 and 6 don't take much time at all.

Work on some simpler projects first. You'll be more satisfied with your time and more able to tackle your RPG later on.

Geisha House is 19,000 lines of code and still growing. I didn't post a WIP until I had most of my assets in line and 10,000 lines of code written. This doesn't reflect negatively on you at all, but it does reflect the immaturity of this project. I hope that I'm able to play it eventually. However, it's just not ready for a WIP post.

Really Cash, it's nice of you to offer help to new users, but you're kinda starting to sound a little boastfull "know-it-all-ish".

Anyways, good start on the rpg.

So what? I have special experience with this type of game. If I can help point someone who wishes to make an RPG in the right direction then I will.

What do you guys suggest I do about placing and loading the position of objects? should I hard code it in or make an editor?

I would make an editor. Takes longer, but in the long run, it makes it easier.

Definitely go with a level editor. Once you get thousands of lines and long compile times, having to sit and wait while it compiles every time you want to slightly move an object will greatly slow down your progress.
