cool, thats some ace material for some reason it even kinda feels like sonic this is in pro right? doubt you'd be able to get all that in and still maintain a reasonably high fps anyways looking good and i hope to play the demo soon p.s. there are some pretty high poly stuff in there...

everyday of life is a new chapter that has already been fortold but is up to the soul to capture.

That looks cool
Are there reflections in those windows or are the buildings hollow?
look forward to this.

Yea they are hollow. If only DB could pull off reflections i'd be in heaven lol...and lag city but nm. To be honest I've cheated a bit with the graphics, some of the stuff in the background are just well positioned pictures that will be seemless during gameplay thou . I've also now taken out the poly windows and replaced them with textures, which I am a bit dissapointed about. Teehahahmwhahahha!

Heh. Good luck on your game .

The last time I saw this WIP was when I was still a newb, and now I am a big kid now . Don't worry it wasn't too long ago (about 4 months). It Looked cool then it looks cooler now .

What I want to know is how you did those lighting effects. I've been trying to get that effect for a long time. How?

'Teehahahmwhahahha!'
Maybe I should put this in my sig .

I wasn’t sure whether you put objects in the buildings to create a reflection effect. In the 3rd shot it looks like the fountain is reflected in the building. I’m sure it will still look cool with textured windows, though.
Nice work.

I love sonic too, even though I've never actually played any of the games for longer than an hour or so.

The only reason for my username being called sonic is that is my nickname at work because I have short spiky hair!

Can't wait to play.

Great looking game.

The only constructive criticism I'd put forth is on the first shot of the boat/dock is:

Everything looks cartoony except the backdrop. The "real sky and clouds" contrasts sharply with the rest of the world. I'd think a more cartoony sky would fit more.

But that's neither here nor there. It looks outstandingly fun! can't wait to play it.

Thanks for the comments. I'll take ur advice up about the sky LoKiDeCaT, i feel the same way but am having trouble finding a better texture. I suppose i could make one thou, but meh lol.

Those lights are simply transparent textures that always face the camera. I'm such a cheat .

Third picture as in Sonic floating? Well, thats a special little new move i've included called Silver Dash :-p.

Here, have a picture of one of the secrets included in the demo. ITS A FLOATING WAFFLE THAT WILL FOLLOW U ROUND AND STUFF!!!^%$^

Other than a few texture problems (the wall on the last pic) I think it looks very nice. It this game gonna have the same level of speed we'ld expect from the 16-bit era?

That looks awesome

The scenary and especially the Sonic model are very good.

The textures look a bit stretched in some places though or warped.

As for level ideas, space, volcano, arctic?

Reflected yet, transparent. Is that at all possible?

That WILL be possible in DBPro Patch 5. Other than that, use memblocks to alter the object's normals to give a "shiny" effect.
