I got in, but I didn't know how to speak. /w, you say? After a few minutes I accidentally hit escape and couldn't reconnect. Interesting anyways.

Edit:
Got back in but I got a runtime error, that an object didn't exist, when I turned around to look at the trees.

press enter and write something then press enter again. Perhaps the error occured because I'm testing the new version.

Hmm when i try to update i get file doesnt exit at line 8

Ok got it working..

Downloaded the autoupdate thingy again opennedt the .ver file with notepad and putted there 1.3

Perhaps it will look better, but run slower. Tell me a Lego game that has lego terrain.

If you installed v1.2 correctly, you will never need to start autoupdate again. The mainprogram will do it itself when you try to run it.

Edit:
found error with trading sytem in 1.3: if you accept trade, you don't loose the things you gave.

It's ok. With update 1.4 the server will come again to all people and if you start one, your ip will be uploaded to a list that will be showed to the clients ingame.

It's an nice game. Anyway, when is update 1.4 comming? Looking forward for trying it (with an list of servers and everything).

If you get kicked or loose connection, you can still play that's correct. But you don't receive anymore data from other players.

STATUS: uploaded & tested

EDIT: instruction for the server: don't end it with the windows cross symbol, use the escapekey or type the /end command otherwise the server won't be removed from the serverlist. Oh and sry I didn't remove one testmessage.

I can't use update 1.4. The client exe won't start. It just happens nothing. Do anyone know what is wrong?

Have you finished installing it? If there's no icon on the exe it hasn't finished installing. It may take some time to install it.

It's completly installed (and has an icon). The AutoUpdate program finished everything. I just can't run the exe.

EDIT:

And could you upload the updates somewhere please? The AutoUpdate program is extremly annoying. It stops to download all the time, so I just cant get the latest update without going though an extremly annoying procedure of starting the same program over and over again and hope that this time it will download the program, which sometimes take hours.

EDIT: Why is urlmon so slow? Doesn't windows use this for downloads?

I´m also having problems with the autoupdater, It just stops at the middle. I have fully allowed the updater in my firewall and there´s no other program or device that´s blocking it.

OK, go to the first post and download the AutoUpdate11.zip, place the two files in your Legommorpg directory and delete LEGOmmorpgToDownload.ver. This one shows much more progress (and is faster I think). It's now based on "wininet.dll".

EDIT: I decied to give v 1.5 as full version to make it easier for all people. See first post.

added a program for me that checks all 5 minutes all servers and deletes those from the list that don't work
you can only carry the bow in left hand and only fire it if your right hand is free (otherwise you hit with it) and you carry a quiver
if you're dragging something, only the fileds where you can put it to are shown

added bowsound
added paper with text
added paper without text
added better images for inventory
added one outfit
added a quiver
added a "don't cross" shield
added better AutoUpdate.exe (now shows always progress)
...

I didn´t find any servers either so I also started my own, which worked perfectly. I will keep the server online for a couple of hours.

It´s online again, I was debugging some of my own apps and the server was hogging up my cpu.

EDIT. I shut it down again, my cpu load was at 100%... That´s too much.

I can't download v1.6. The AutoUpdate program just stops. But I don't think it's the program itself, I think it's my computer. Because I got the same problem when I download things with Internet Explorer (but then it's not as big), and when I use msn I just get kicked out of the connection. Don't know if all these are related, though.

Anyway, here is an image of the problem. As you se, the CPU Usage is none and the I/O Bytes (how much is sent over internet and things like that, I think), is none aswell. Before it stoped these two where far from none (ok, sometimes the I/O Bytes got down to zero, but then only for an moment). Do anyone know why I have these problems? If you do, please tell me, because I really want to be able to use the AutoUpdate program.



EDIT:

Ohh, and I'm using an wireless network and an router. Don't know if that has to do with anything, though.

I've managed to download v1.6 . Anyway, I've tried to connect some times now, but the connection just timed out.

I've got a server up and running, and will have it doing so for a few hours.

doh, it looks like my ftp server deletes unknown .dat files after some time and can't anymore receive .dat files. This will be fixed in next version.

thx for the fast update. i downloaded it and tried it, but it gave me connection timed out all the time. but then i looked at my router settings and... silly me! the Multisync port forwarding was going to the wrong IP address! i tried it just now and its awsome! i love the music. where did u get it? or did u write that ur self?

who was host of the server "elias"? Did you forward port 3999 or didn't you end your server correctly because I got a "Timed Out" when I tried to connect.

There was another host to wich I couldn't connect.
Anyway, in the servercode, I wrote an "i" at a place i needed a "n".
Because of this, the serverlist can't contain more than 1 server currently. Will be changed in next update.

I'm sorry, it didn't finish uploading the exe file on my host. It was only 8.13 MB big but should have been 8.18 MB in size.

EDIT:

Now fixed, please redownload.
