Hello everyone

The creators of Arteria have created a brand new website called FPSC-models.com, which is designed solely for FPS creator users. It is a wonderful resource of FPSC ready models and they are at an affordable price. If it’s WW2 type games or modern games you wish to create with some outdoor terrain then this is the place to visit.

At the moment FPSC-models.com are running a competition in which the winner can win a life times worth of free downloads of all FPSC-models.com packs. To find out more visit: http://www.fpsc-models.com/comp.html.

For those that don’t know the quality of FPSC-models.com products here are some examples:

Many thanks

Moving this to the Models and Media forum.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

Why?

I know these are fpsc models and media, but really.. if this is moved to that category it will dramitically reduce the ammount of people who see the information, especially as we offering so much for this community and will continue to do so.

Please leave it on the general forum for some more time please

Thankyou

Nice work, Stevie; I saw you advertise this at the GG forums a few days ago. Yet again, somebody that makes me want to get out and make some more art.

I can't tell from the screens (they're cut off at the bottom), but what is your frame-rate in these scenes?

This is mighty impressive, I really love the content you're offering so far. And custom work offered too? Swell.
But how much do you charge for a custom animated model without custom animations/rigging?

I'm really considering buying one of these packs, as it looks awesome. Some things do look a bit hi-poly though.

High poly.. not at all

I have been very careful in the techniques i have used to make these models

Each model in the ruins pack fall between 700-1400 polys. There is only one model in there, which is the abbey model which is the highest at 4k I included it as its a mighty fine model, that shows good performance in game.

The village pack models are between 1400-3000 polys and again run very smoothly in game.

The most important thing too with all these models is that they only use a singular texture per model, which significantly increases performance over multi textures buildings, as fpsc doesnt have to do multiple render passess per model

As for custom work, please contact me at my hotmail account - yertari@msn.com

Thankyou for your kind words everybody!

This site is for you and dedicated to you due to the ammount of people who were contacting me at arteria about my media and the potential use in FPSC. As there were a few things we needed to do to get the models to work in fpsc perfectly, we decided to do the mods plus make a whole site for you!

Hope you all enjoy

I ordered the contest pack and I'm going to enter your contest. Those are some nice prizes you are offering.

Will you be converting your other packs over to fpsc in time?

Very nice work.
Be aware though, that only dynamic entitys can have multiple textures in FPSC.

Hi Guys

With the new site up and running we have now turned our attention to the up and coming SCI FI pack. At this moment we have no screenshots for you, but in the next day or so you’ll see what we have planned for the pack. Watch this space…..

How will you go about your level design thing?do we have to enter a .exe?or the .fpm?I prefer a .exe as the .fpm might require media you do not have or have on a different position.

Hi Prince Of Darkness

To answer your question yes will only be accepting the full level. Once you have completed the level compress the game folder into a zip or rar file. The file would need to be uploaded to a website or hosting site. You could use a site something like filefront.

Once you have uploaded the file you then need to email us at: competition@fpsc-models.com.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact us.

Hi KeithC

With everything in frame around 30FPS and with no optimisation. If you were to put enemies into the map and also not optimised it would be around 20FPS. What I mean by no optimisation is the models are place randomly on the map.

Each model is made up of one mesh which will ensure an even faster draw time within the engine.

This would also depend on the user’s machine off course, but we have tried to make sure that each model runs as well as we can allow it without impacting the games performance.

We hope to have an ingame video for you all to view once we get around it. At the moment we’re trying to finish the SCI FI pack and will have a video middle of the week at best.

It's funny how he has come out with this because I have an e-mail asking him if his models were fpsc compatible and his reply was..."Don't waste your time with fpsc. It is crap"! I will not be buying from him. Just as a pre-caution.....I know a lot of you don't have a lot of money to just waste but be careful when buying from this guy (stevie). His models (torque models) have a lot of bugs. I paid for a 1 year membership for all of his packs and basically got three good packs out of almost 20. The other models I can't even use. It's sad really.

Now that my membership ran out he is actually redoing the packs and I can get the better version of the same model for 15 dollars per pack. BULL CRAP!!!! I could care less if you flame me and tell me what a wonderful guy he is and the quality of his work but I know first hand about Arteria. No thank you.

Hello drew4663

Thank you for your input here and we are sorry to hear that you have experienced some problems with the model packs for Arteria. If you have problems please contact us so we can help you better with any of the issues that may affect the packs that you had bought of us. We have ensured that the Arteria packs support as may formats as it is humanly possible.

May I please remind you that these models have been redesigned solely for FPS Creator and a lot of work has gone into getting them to work as well as we can. Every effort has gone into testing and bug fixing. If a customer has a problem with any of the packs they have bought from us. Please contact us at: support@fpsc-models.com.

Also our models are available on the website to view in a realtime 3d model viewer from the browser.

Many Thanks

Hello everyone

We have some good news and bad news. Firstly the bad news. We have had to delay the Scifi pack until tomorrow as the Scifi Character took much longer to sort out than we thought, but the good news is that the Scifi character is now released.

Those of you who had preordered the pack will have their download emails soon. If you are interested in the pack please go to our site: www.FPSC-Models.com

It's kind of expensive for one character.

I would pay up to 5 dollars for that. I could easily make color variations.

Hi Fallen one

Thanks for the update I'll speak with Steve about the scifi page on the Arteria site. Try this link if you’re trying to get to the page: http://www.arteria-gaming.com/scifi2_themepack.html. The Arteria products have generic formats for most game engines. If it is FPSC content you’re looking for you can purchase any of our packs from this address. http://www.fpsc-models.com

If you have anymore questions please feel free to contact us on support@fpsc-models.com.

I see there is a Horse pack on one of your links, will that be made FPSC ready too? It would fit well with the Western pack and Village packs and would be a first for FPSC.
