Here is an image of a Hitman game I was making (halted it for the moment). If anyone wants the images I'd be happy to upload the bitmap for free.

That is from the manual of hitman! But If that is a sprite sheet you ripped it out good.

It IS from the manual. But I did draw them in paint.
I can only draw well if I'm copying
Thanks, they must be pretty close to the real thing then

Thanks!
If only I could do the same with 3D.

I want the game to have "delayed" animations like a flip book, but I don't want to have a really slow sync rate as that would screw with the program, and wait interrupts it. Any ideas?

[EDIT]
here's what I've done so far. This code is old and BADLY written, so I'm just hoping it works!

gamespace isn't free but you can get the lite version for free. Pile of rubbish if you ask me. Blender is your best bet. Or if you have enough money you can buy Milkshaper for a reasonable price.

I'm actually using the lite version even though its resticted to 5,000 polygons, it's still an awesome tool!

Can you do animations in blender; because I had Wings3D before but you can't animate.

Really? It's telling me 465!
Gah, blender's interface is incredibly hard. The best bet is a simple modelling program and then another one for animating. I think anyway.

I always say that Anim8or is the easiest 3D package to learn, especially for sprites. Your game should be pretty fast as 2D is always faster than 3D Models made from many polygons.. even if the 2D is made from plains.
