Hello everyone I just wanted to say i am making a game. Here is the story line.

October 24,1989-A nuclear reactor near Kurkakov,Russia suffers a meltdown and explodes. (The Soviet Party elected a new minister and the Soviet Union still reamained. Yes that insludes the Barlin Wall) Radiation is spread around the world and the death toll is estimated to be over 5 times of chernobyl. Nobody knew of the incident until radiation was found is high levels around the world.
As a reasult Russia closed its borders and set up a 50km "zone" around the plant. The "zone" has 15 entrances guarded by soldiers.
You must get into the "zone" and complete tasks for the US Government. The newly formed Intelligence and Joint Operations Agency or Сведения и Объединенное Агентство Операций (COAO) plans to cover up the disaster and "sanatize" any unauthorized people who find out.

So i need help with a title and a few suggestions.
Whoever comes up with a good title will be included in the credits.

hello

OK. So, the radiation is strong enough to spread all around the world yet you are sent into the very epicenter of the explosion. You would die in real life, not even a hazard suit would protect you. So explain how one person and the soldiers will survive in the place where the radiation is the strongest, when people all around the world have died! You need to revise your story...

no, because all the posts are in time order. And it is added to the thread with the original time it was posted

TATBS 1.8 is now fully functional. Brilodis is having its districts extracted to Battle City. Krina and Karin are twice the size. And you’ll see 5 times as many breeds of monsters... It’s Kalspher V3.

Well the answer to the radiation problem is after Chernobyl the Soviet Military and the COAO spent billions of dollars to create a bulky suit that supplys fresh air and water and also protects you from very high levels of radiation for up to 24 hours. In one level you must steal the suit from a soviet military base.

So does that answer your question?

And most of the entrances to the 50km zone are east of the plant away from were th radiation is blown.

literally, the only thing that can protect you from gamma radiation (the type produced by reactors) is a seven foot for inch (I can't remember) wall of lead... and even that doesn't guarantee anything

@ Opposing Force
Actually, an explosion that sent radiation around the world would probably diffuse the radioactive particles evenly, and yes, radiation is a solid mass

Now an unrealistic thing in this game is the suit contains an "unknown foriegn Russian material" that supposidly absorbs x-rays and gamma rays up to a certain peroid of time. After that time is up your doomed. Also your suppose to take russian drugs found in a bunker to help process any radioactive food or water you drink.

I dont think the soviet union Elected there leaders

MINISTER?!?!?!?!
this is just to unrealistic, change up the story because at the moment, its not really worth a good name!

Quote: "Yes that insludes the Barlin Wall"

NOT THE BERLIN WALL!!!! ANYTHING BUT THE BERLIN WALL!!!!

What? Wasn't it all unrealistic?

But I must admit your screens are BEUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
so if you change the story, it might be a better game, right now it NEEDS to be more realistic!

I think your game should be called

Zone of Alienation

which is the zone where the Chernobyl people used to live and is nowadays pretty much unhabited.

my god... so many experts here... post soviet russian polictical experts, nuclear physics experts, experts on the effects of gamma radiation...

you must truly feel lucky to have such a wealth of qualified knowledge in these fields available to you G...

hey... just make your game, and don't take what many of these 'experts' here have to say too seriously...

if people buy into a man from Krypton who flies and is impervious to bullets in the light of the yellow sun, they'll surely buy into the anti radiation suit thingee, and the other stuff you imagine...

i like the explanation you came up with (the suit) for being able to withstand the intense radiation... just keep coming up with plausible (mor or less) explanations for everything fantastic to make it work...

after all... it IS only a game...

oh yeah... a title... why not call it After Effect...

I think "The Cleanup" sounds good if the player is going to "clean" the city from radiationzombies
