I just created my first model with milkshape, and I'm having trouble loading it up in dbpro. I have saved my model as m3ds and tried to load it up with that and it says cannot load 3d object. So i tried exporting my model as a direct x file and then tried loading that up in dbpro but still the same message. Could anyone kindly refer to a tutorial or tell me the correct format to save a model and the correct way to load it in dbpro. The code i used to load it in dbpro was load object "objectname.m3ds(also tried objectname.x",1

thanks for helping out a beginner like me.

go file:save as: directX modle. then in DBpro, do:
load object "objectname.x", 1
position object 1,1,1,1

In milkshape you need to export as DIRECT X(JT), that may fix it. Put your object in the same folder as your source code, and run this.

Load object "myobject.x",1

And it should automatically point at the object.
