AC/DC at least varied their tempos, and were easy to groove to because it's good old hard rockin' blues--it's allowed to be repetitive. Dragonforce flies by too quickly to hear anything interesting. But AC/DC has such diversity as Hell's Bells, Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell, Beatin' around the Bush, and You Shook Me All Night Long, each with a distinctly different tune. I swear I hear the same vocal lines repeated in the same style on several songs on Inhuman Rampage--it has really just one song that shakes things up. Don't get me wrong, it's fun stuff to listen to, but I too can't listen to them for long.
I'm obsessed with Herbie Hancock at the moment. I'm going to see him in downtown Phoenix next Friday. . . with 3rd row seats.
There's a lot of music that I like: Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Styx, Queen, Weather Report, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, The Brecker Brothers, Dave Matthews...and Matt'll be happy to know I'm slowly easing into Radiohead.

I'm going to eat you!
