I haven't tried downloading the update, but the core program downloads and installs fine for me (just make sure you have the latest DirectX (Dec. 2005)).

through MediaFire.
But FirmaV2_2_Update.exe not
And have the last directX update November 2007

Hey I need help with the sign maker when I try to load a texture it won't load the texture the walls and floors I save as jpg and they work fine but when I try the signs it won't show up hmmm

sorry for bumping but it seems like that i have a problem with firma when i load it up (and when i have set all the settings right) it popups with that "report the fault" thingy i dont know what to do can someone help me?

I have also downloaded the firma tool with all the update, but wen i start it appear the windows with the error message: Runtime error 506 could not load image at line 171!
what must i do?

Seeing this was bumped I may aswell ask.

Is there anything new that's happening with Firma? What happened to the new update or new version Dark talked about. I can't get the one in the first post to work.

Tanya, I didn't make Firma, Darkfoil did. I don't have vista so I'm not sure, best let either Darkfoil or someone who has Vista/X10 answer.

I've got 2 errors comming when I start the programm.

this one
the application has failed to start because d2dx9_31.di was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

The program works great, but if you make more more than one room the textures get resized 128x128. you can only make one room that saves the textures at 512x512 than you have to restart the program before you make another. Why is that?

@ Tanya. Firma does work with windows vista but I don't have FPS X10 so I don't know if it works with that.

@ Klive. I've just tested the room creator. I made three rooms with different textures and when I checked the size of the textures that Firma had created they were all 512x512. I've no idea why it would revert to making 128x128 textures.

@ funnyfred. I can't be sure but it could be a directx problem. Firma needs DirectX 9 to run.

@ Darkfoil Firma works Great!! with FPS X10 without any problems at all. one thing i have notice with Firma, once you install the program at first Firma gave me a error message saying FPS X10 was not found..so what i have done is reassigned all of the Firma files manually to the FPS X10 and it worked Great! Thanks again Darkfoil for this AWESOME program!!by the way...With Signs 4 You will have to grant Signs administrative permissions in order for it to write to the "Program Files" Directory.
Right click on Signs and go to the compatibility tab, and near the bottom, click "Run as Administrator".

Thanks for the info Tanya. The fact that it is possible to get Firma to work with X10 is just a happy accident but I'm sure many people will be glad to hear that it is possible.

oh, but i always get this error when i try to save any room or wall
runtime error 500-Unknown image error at line 14089 foer the wall save

Hey guys. I have had a bit of a problem trying to zip the firma V2.

An error apiered say the fllowing"The compreesed(zipped)folder is invalid or currupt" and i was just wondering if som1 had an idea of how to fix it...

I'm on downloading the Application, but i got a simple question.

Is this program able to view bumps aswell. So you can look on your wall with bump and normal maps on?

Hi Darkfoil,

Thanks for this useful program. I have an error message when starting it: "Runtime errror 8003 - Could not find path at line 136".
I have installed the 2 updates, and my DirectX version is up-to-date.
I think the path to FPSC is the default one: C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator

Can you help ? thanks.
