Interesting read so far--- Gil, Assassin's Creed *already* has your vote for best of 2007, and it's not even out yet?

One recommendation is not to put too many excuses in there, i.e. your entire explanation of how you didn't have a lot of time, it was rushed, etc. Even though they're true, people will just see it as an excuse. That's why I always cringe when I got to the W.I.P. board and see some game where the author will put right away that he spent only x hours on it. Other than that, I'm very impressed with the layout--- it looks like a real mag!

That wasn't in my original draft, Rami added it . I do think it will be amazing though, you can judge a lot about a game just from the vids imo .

Thanks for the comments .

It's november, and I haven't seen any game that looked as promising as Assassins Creed coming out in the last few months. Me and Gil agreed that if any game seems to be heading for that title, it would be AC. Also remember that the article is a preview. Nothing is set, and if the game disappoints, that will reflect in the final score in the review. So yes, it has our vote for best game of 2007 for now.

The excuses are because we didn't want to hear numerous replies about grammar and spelling. This will be fixed this time. We wanted replies about content. No more excuses though, we've got a full month this time and we wíll live up to the expectations. My apologies. (Oops, I did it again!)

Glad you enjoy the read, Jeku .

Could you do a feature on the casual games market--- i.e. Popcap games, shockwave.com, etc.? Lately those are the only types of games I have time to play at home, and believe it or not casual games are a larger industry than so-called "hardcore" games

What about Cheney Hunter? Only spending a few hours working on that game is what made it so funny I thought .

We could consider a 'casual' column. Actually it's quite a fun idea, mobile + casual games. We're considering a Retro/oldies/classics column for next issue as well, so it appears to become one crammed issue!

Crap Gil, get your ass on IM. Or naah, too late now. Suns is rising. Need to sleep, otherwise I'd catch too much sun and burn alive, being the vampire I am. We'll discuss the column tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, dó mail us questions, funny mails, stupid comments or reactions at tha.rami@gmail[dot]com

Why not review a couple of indi games, I mean there's the nVidia compo games, but also a Wizball remake has just been released:

Haven't had the time to try it yet but it's supposed to be great.

We're going down... in a spiral to the ground...

We're reviewing games just released (1-2 months) or about to be released (1-4 months). We'll be looking at the link, appears to be a valuable resource .

Your contest takes a little too much work for most people to participate (i.e. printing, setting up and taking a picture, etc.) Perhaps for next month you can alleviate some of those barriers?

Heh, naah, we do want to make the contests worthwhile, and I must admit there are several good ones among them. Hah, I laughed very hard when I saw one of them and one of them won't make the issue due to... uhm, audience problems.

The contest is open for 1 more hour. Anyone still wanting to join can still join and win a free copy of Eternal Equinox. We have 9 contestants now, and we're quite happy with that for a first contest .
