What I meant was "wake up. Time to school." Doesn't make any sense, it should say "wake up. Time for school."

hey, you're pretty skilled as well. I really like your sites, pretty pro-ish if you ask me. I may also be able to help with modeling, texturing or box art. But I wouldn't be able to till after Christmas.

That is an awesome, professional looking game you got there, Techno!

I really enjoy the style, and once I find time in my busy schedule I'll certainly be giving it a test run.

...I judged this one, in the competition.

It's got it's charm.
It was nice to see someone take FPSC in a different direction. Everything doesn't always have to be just kill, kill, kill. It's very polished in its appearance, too.

Scored high on my scoresheet!

No offense but I have to take issue with that statement.
There were missing segments and a few buildings and frogs around the level.
The game innovative but that doesn't mean that its polished and good. Again I don't mean any offense.

@darimc .. I'll be very happy when you'll test my game with your youger sister

regarding the blue background I'm talking about here in the following link:
http://www.letterskingdom.com/test.html

@i want to game
that's ok i want to game ... I really appreciate any comment friendly bro! I understand that this is not offensive

first regarding the missing segments .. there could be some missing segments .. you may tell me about to fix ..

regarding the few building .. it doesn't matter the quantity of buildings in relation to the content that is how every building is used ?

I think my sister will really like it Letters Kingdom. I also think you will be happy to know that I am making an educational FP game, inspired by yours. But don't worry it is not a copy and it is not supposed to be competition.

Yes, there were a few frogs around the level. Kill them. Don't kill them. There were just a few static buildings. The game is a child's game, and it hits home very nicely.

Letters Kingdom isn't Doom: Learn The ABCs. If it was, I would've said it failed miserably.

Missing segments? Um...not any that I saw in the game I played. Something that blatant would've cost big time. Some minor bugs? Sure, I saw some of those. What FPSC product doesn't, though?

As far as it being polished, in my opinion it is much more polished and retail-worthy than most of the offerings that I've ever seen produced by the FPSC engine.

The overall look and feel of every aspect of the game was quite nicely done.

Could I play this game for hours? No. Would it be a title that a parent might plop down $10.00 for, so their kid could have a fun way to learn his/her ABCs? Absolutely.

That's what this industry is all about...creating something of value that someone might actually want.

Thanks,

Seth Black

You obviously didn't look behind you.

That doesn't make it meet the criteria of a good game. Letters kingdom is an interesting attempt at a fun yet educational game,but it is far from perfect. if its a kid trying to learn the ABC's how are they going to understand "You cant pick up this letter right now." I applaud the game for trying to make fpsc be used for educational purposes,but that does not make it a great game.

...never said it was perfect. Obviously some of the other judges thought it was pretty good, too. Good enough to win the grand prize in the competition.

I don't think that you've played the same version of this game, as we judges have. Perhaps that's what's causing the hostile reaction?

It certainly is a much better attempt than your offering. Don't even get me started about the quality of your models, or the textures you used.

As far as looking behind me, I walked all over that level...looked high...looked low. That's how I discovered where the F was located.

Why are you clogging this thread up with your poor sportsmanship?

Thanks,

Seth Black

You obviously don't like me, that doesn't mean that you have to make fun of my game because I disagree with a statement you make.
I'm not being hostile,I'm merely pointing out the fact that a game thats innovative doesn't equal a great game.
@TechNo VaLLey I congratulate your luck of getting first place.

Thank you all ...

I really can't express my feelings now ...

@i want to game
I know that this game didn't reach the perfect work or wasn't 100% . There were some small bugs may be due to the short period I've worked on and telling that the game is for children to learn doesn't mean that the children 3 - 5 or more can play it alone .. but of course with the aid of their parents !

Quote: "@TechNo VaLLey I congratulate your luck of getting first place."

This wasn't really luck .. I am gonna tell you that I've hardly worked on this project and let me tell you that in the last 2 days before the contest's end period .. I've only slept 2 hours in 48 hours .. beleive it or not !! yes 2 hours only also I wasn't that professional in using FPSC while I was working i was teaching myself hardly how to do so and so and also asking in the forum ..

Finally thank you for your comment again.

@Seth Black
Can't say anything else .. " Always supportive !! "

@woolfman
Thanks for your comment too

@darimc
Thanks my bro! .. will answer you mail shortly

@Inspire

@deca
Thank you my freind .. I really liked your work too !! however you didn't win but I appreciate your work as well as all the other competitors .. All of you guys ( competitors ) tried to do your best and good luck for those who didn't win this time in the next competitions and wish all who didn't reach the competition to join next times

I can see why this game won by the judges after playing the demo, the game is original, has frogs and great texture's and models.

The downside of the game is its not that very good but the idea is great, collecting letters to help learne children learne letters is great but by the time they can get the hang of a first person shooter they prob could read and write by then.

I did test it on my kids and they where fed up in mins and was back playing lazy town in no time but I feel with a little changing around this could be a great game.

The puzzles need to be more child frendly if this is going to be a success with children.

This is an original game and great to see someone doing something diffrent with fpsc, the downside was the gameplay.

I hope you do well in your game making

@s4real

Thank you for you valuable comment .. unfortunately there were not enough time to create a well studied puzzles that fit the children only. In my point of view the children that learn the Alphabets won't understand how to play the game alone that's why i made those tricks to let their parents have fun with them .. asking them hmm where is the "F" so that they can try enhance communications together ...

by the way If you have any idea you can suggest for me either here or by mail Just by typing the mail subject letters kingdom suggestions for example coz I'm enhancing the game just right now to be available for purchasing at the beginning of the year.
