NO NO NO NO wings, I used it before but I can't make animations. I also used anim8or but that hasn't a good animation export function

DId you buy DBPro yet?

If you didn't,I recommend doing so from realgametools.com website to get a free copy of character FX not to be stranded with Milkshape.

Other than that, you can try 3dcanvas but it's only a demo, maybe if you surf a bit you,ll find the last freeware version which exported .x files for hierarchies and Skinned Mesh

Hmm

just read a few post and like the way of wings. The only prob is that it doesn't support animation. Is there a program in witch I can animate a model? are there tutorials on wings on the web?

Use wings to make object
export to animation program in .3ds form(or whatever is accepted.)
animate there.

then export as .x to dbp/db, and start coding.

correct me I'm wrong plz.

I see it that way but that's me,

Model and UVWMap in Wings3D,paint the map(can be doen at any time though)

Export to .obj(retains more information and is the best 3d format),

Hierarchic animations=Load and animate in free trueSpace 3.2 and export as .X

Hierarchic animations AND Skinned Mesh use 3dcanvas(60$ for latest version and free for verison 3.3)

Or,for the third time already in this thread, animate it using character FX
