Quick dumb question about the radar.

Can the radar be turned on/off in game, so that it can be a reward for figuring out a puzzle? And can the range be editted?

Also, can it be "battery operated" so to speak. A timer that counts down if in use? And recharged when you pick up another battery?

Urlforce Studios, would you mind posting the information here as well as IGD. Some of us refuse to go to a forum where Underside, a [Mod Edit] banned member of the TGC community, is the admin.

Sound great though

Whoa.....

I never knew that! I thought he had some sort of anti-piracy hunt for the good of TGC?

darmic,
Your 100% wrong. He claimed he "made" the textures. Any MOD can confirm this. And He still holds this grudge. The TGC staff them self can show you letters forwarded to them this week where DF and Underside want to beat up Fred and I, so the "grudge" still stands. Its also been stated by Underside my house will be burnt down.

We don't forget [Mod Edit] around here. Your free to visit anyone you want. But please only address me when you know the facts. My record stands on it's own in this regard.

No more of this [Mod Edit] in Url's thread please. Email me.

This is exactly what TGC should be doing, giving the source to an individual to add and tweak then giving that altered source to another individual. This will free up more time for TGC to do other stuff as well as keeping tabs on what's been altered in the source.

Taking a break... Be back soon.

I can't wait to see this. Personally, if the AI starts working better in FPSC and doesn't bring down the framerate so much, thats going to solve so many problems. The ele style menus and stuff, we're already doing, but 40fps....Hmmmmmmm

Underside was banned from these forums because he lost his patience with [Mod Edit ] these forums. Some of people he means are:

Deathead,
Locrain.

Underside is not the admin of IGD.Net, Darkfact is, he is just a mod. Urlforce has become quite a regular, respected member over at IGD.Net. He posted that info over on that forum because he gets sensible seggestions and thank you's, Not just "VeHcuLEs!1!!!!1!".

--------------------------------------------------

@Urlforce,
Sorry 'bout that, just wanted to clear that up. I don't think that this forum deserves this mod being free, but the lisence says you can't. I'm sure if you e-mail Lee or Rick you could find a way of selling it, you have put loads of effort and work into this. I particularly like that you have added darklights.

Have a good day,
Duplex.

Darklights were in v1.07, I just put it in the features so people would know it was supported.

Why is it that this forum is turning into a place were you can't make a post without some member starting an argument about another member and something he/she did. TGC forums are starting to become a place were you can't go somewhere without getting attacked.

LOL!

There are a couple things that are relatively minor that I would like to see fixed, like not allowing the player to reload when their clip is full. I can't remember any more at the moment though, will post when they come to mind.

i think running it at 40 fps is stupid, i dont wanna run that fast and reload will be like u are on speed.

and ways u can edit the fps? Like in a .ini file?

or how about a sound sync, and a way that the higher fps will not alter how fast you do something

Don't speak. If you're going to quote something, do it right. Attempting to trash someone by hitting the Shift key while misspelling words is not the way to earn respect. It's talk and attitudes like THAT that are making the FPSC boards over here such an unfriendly place to be. It's people like you that cause other people to lose their tempers.

If you hate the people here so much, stay at IGD.Net, no one will miss you.

Back on track:

Instead of fixing minor things in FPSC, I'd encourage Url to work on things that he enjoys to work on. It's been my experience that work goes faster when you're enjoying it.

About Mr. Makealotofsmoke's idea, you could probably just read the sync rate as a number from the setup.ini file, and then sync it with that.

@ Plystire:

The quality of FPSC would be so much better if some of the small things like that were fixed, but I also agree with what you're saying.

I do as well. This is the second or third weekend in a row former/moderated members of these forums are causing problems again.
I am going into details or argueing with anyone. Most of the negativity in question is being caused by those that are or know these people.
I don't know what they do on those other forums and I really don't care. Not my problem. But around here you post with sense, you respect your fellow forum members and you follow the rules.
It's that darn simple.
It's the holidays so my suggestion is to drop this crap here and now.
Trust me...when the holidays are over things are going to get cleaned up around here.
Now we need to get on topic and stay on topic.
Nobody wants a Christmas slap or ban and I'd rather not give one.
Now I am going back to waiting on the uber mod that Urlforce made.

Please have mercy and use the search function.

It's been my experience that mods made for a specific version have a hard time adapting to other versions of FPSC.

His mod might work with other versions, but to play it safe, I'd patch up to V1.07 before trying to use it.

Enough is enough........

Things will be cleaned up around here. I have no need to and will not to state why. You are all aware of why. Enough to say that these forums are a place where users will adhere to legal, orderly and civilised practices.

The FPSC forums will be a place of civilised behaviours where the average user can go about their legitimate business following an interest in making games in an atmosphere of calm without interfereance, threats and personal attacks or fear to take part. The FPSC forums will not be left to fall into chaos.

We can do it the easy way or the hard way. It is up to the Forum members. If you want to see FPSC Mods crack down Hard with no quarter given OK. Well you got it. You are warned so dont complain.

That is enough said.

Have a great Festive Season and a Happy New Year.
