Ok i would like to do in my game hidden passageways. I would like it to be a wall that when you "use" on that section it will disappear(float up etc) showing you a hidden passage. i if some1 can help me i would be grateful.

...this should get you started:

Files\Scriptbank\User\Hidden Doorway.fpi

1. Place your entity, and right-click to open its PROPERTIES.

2. Set Hidden Doorway.fpi as the MAIN SCRIPT

3. Set the following:

STATIC MODE = NO
IS IMMOBILE = NO
PHYSICS ON = NO
PHYSICS FORCE DAMAGE = 0

You need to highlight the code posted by CG, and copy/paste/save as... fpi in notepad or something, then use the code like SB showed you.

They should. All entities have a Main AI section, or are you using segments?

i have copied the code from Coffe Grunt, chose an entity, changed the parameters specified by Seth Black, placed the hiddendoor.fpi in the Main ............. and nothing happens, the entity (no matter which) does not move.
I get right to the door but what key do I use to activate the plrusingaction ??? Something is missing

...the ENTER key is designated as the activation key, in FPSC.

Yes, MP can't really take scripted dynamic entities.

Umm Jeosan if your gonna use a door entity just you a normal active door entity. i mean a basic one. my question was for a wall entity not for a door entity. Btw as MP you said i couldnt i just made a window that its large enough that i can jump through it but you need to know that how.

Thanks.
Majer.

You were able to jump through the window because it was probably a window hole without the glass.

Yes, but in the beginning of the game it will be hidden. You would have to scroll the mouse wheel to reveal it.

have the player start on a cutscene zone. Make a credits video in windows movie maker or something. then use that as cutscene. Make the level like this.
_
|*|---player start and winzone. player starts, watches the credits
|*|---then he falls down here and hits the winzone and the game ends
| |
|||
|V|

hope you can understand my crappy drawing... good luck.
P.S. this will obviously only work in Single Player.
P.P.S. Just out of curiosity. I haven't been on here for a long, long time. Does Merranvo still exist?

may god have mercy upon my enemies, I sure as hell won´t.

Or go to [href]www.fpsfree.com[/href] and click on downloads.....

at the bottom of the downloads page there is a game cover app, download it and it has a tutorial on how to add an opening and closing video to your game.....

when you say the "root of the game" are you referring to FPSC or are you talking about the game you've built.

If you're talking about FPSC, there's already one there.
