I have some special effects on my game like lightning and zapping things and beams. They are just textured plains that go from one point to another. It was working fine when I was just using the X and Z directions, but now I want them to go from any point to another. What formulas should I use for this?
EX:
x rotate object zapobject,atanfull(z1-z2,y1-y2)
z rotate object zapobject,atanfull(x1-x2,z1-z2)
y rotate object zapobject,atanfull(x1-x1,z1-z1)
These aren't the formulas that I am using, but just examples. Can someone help me with it?
