The moment I openned this topic I immediately did a search for my name.

Surprisingly, I expected it not to return any results!

Wow, I figured people would list every good scripter EXCEPT me, because in all honesty, it's always been that way, lol.

And to be nominated a few times for best contributor completely blew me away! I like helping people out and enjoy a good challenge every once in a while on the script board, but I didn't really think that I would be considered one of the best contributors.

Thanks guys. I would have voted for Seth, Butters, Airslide, coffee grunt, and a few others whose names don't come to mind right now.

I couldn't say who the best contributor is for FPSC, because I honestly don't dwell in all of the FPSC boards to know for sure.

Loc,

Very cool man, I wonder how many forum users that have been at the business end of you keyboard punched their monitors when they read that?!

huh. I never had a go at someone for absoluetely no reason before I have a reason.

And Nearly all my arguments mainly have point in them. Like I have a way of being harsh to get things into heads. To me being harsh is a better way of getting people to get something right because "Nice Work but do blah blah" the maker who you are trying to give C&C to will only take merit for the "Nice Work" part and take no notice to the C&C.

Perhaps, but it's for FPSC forumers only (geek culture already has something similar to this, I think.) I want the right people to notice this and besides, the post hasn't been moved or locked.

@Locrian- How kind.

@gunn3r,
glad ya liked it.

@Jon,
Well it's not like I spend time on them, and if they make me chuckle, I'm sure they do others as well.

@Inspire,
Of course not man. I fully understood each mans position. Reply was all tongue and cheek.

@deca,
Dude..I forgot his bow tie...How careless of me on this big night.

@RF,
Not sure how many, but we all have to do our part to keep those monitor repairmen in work....Next!?

@Pus In Boots,
Hey..People either get me or they don't...No sweat off my back either way. I consider it an honor that people are more reluctant to make dumb post with me around and active. People need that fear of being made a fool of...Believe it or not, I was asked to spend more time around here then I have in the last 6 months...And the people that requested this, are some of everyones favorites in the others areas....So I know my role in the community.

Best

Oh it is...it's all tongue and cheek...As I hope most of my post are taken. Like I said, the people that get me get it....They laugh along with my post.

That's the whole point in the "funny images". It's all a joke. Sometimes with a dose of sarcasm for spice...

My favorite nomination is Nicky's....I'm going to need many more votes though for your final tally to be able to actually claim to be TGC's most "controversial".

I keep a close eye on this thread in hopes.......lol.

@Nicky,
Most certainly not....."Most Controversial" sound much better then worst attitude, and in my opinion, much more accurate. I mean I can really only be considered to have a "bad attitude" by someone that's asked some dumb question or said something so utterly stupid, it warranted some goofy, sarcastic remark from me.

You've never been the target of a barb, so like I said before, I understood the nomination of each member in it's context.

@Eureka Seven,
I just found it easier to communicate via IM. Got busy, and had no real time for the forums. I'm being as active as I can here now though, so thanks for the welcome back.

But I've always been lurking.

Implying I'm a wimp but not at the same time? Amazing how you do that so well, violate the AUP but not at the same time. That you consider yourself a barbarian is even more amazing.

Oh no, I'm not going there again. That guy has um... well I won't say here. Help out and innocent forum member and guess what happens. It was like I was a pirate or something. I feel sorry for Benjamin A. All he was doing was trying to help Loc and he got banned/flamed. If Loc has something to say he can say it to this guy cause I really don't care. Oh and don't bother emailing me either Loc, old buddy, as you have been blocked from my email. Sorry, Pus In Boots. I hope you weren't expecting me to get myself banned/slapped for Loc's entertainment? I admit it, that guy's to good at dodging the AUP while still being loved by moderators everywhere.

@Slayer,
Never implied you we're a wimp because of that quote. It simply replied to "reign of terror" (in my mind anyway), and also answered the two other people.

See, I do that at times. I appeal to peoples more intellectual and humoristic nature, answering many people with one well placed verse. I find it entertaining, and amusing, as do others on the forum (present company excluded, and duly noted).

Like I've said two times now in this thread: "I understood the nomination of each member in it's context."
Meaning: I also understood your nomination, and would have expected no less.

Even though yours wasn't intended in the "tongue and cheek" manner Nicky's and Inspire's was, I'm not so witless to believe I'm liked, or even palatable by all. I'm fine with the circle of contacts I enjoy from this community.

Glad you recognize what an art form AUP dancing is. Recognition and discernment, even on it's lowest level, is one of the first steps in joining us.

Quote: "I admit it, that guy's to good at dodging the AUP while still being loved by moderators everywhere."

If you'd of only said that earlier. I would have given you credit for the paraphrasing, or similar comment, made in the comic which ushered in my participation to this conversation.

Maybe next year....

@Pus In Boots,
Quote: "I don't now what the deal with Locrian is..."

I have no "deal". In the case of this thread, I'm simply replying to post directed unequivocally in my direction. Be it inane post such as: "Welcome back", or others of a more austere nature, when a post is made to me, I think it only good manners to address it.

"No more", or "no less" man.

SIDE THOUGHT: Okay, maybe unknowingly the statement of "no more or no less" is erroneous. Perhaps my intention is to garner more "Most Controversial" votes subconsciously. This, yet is unclear, even to myself.

Tutorials not included I assume, since I haven't been nominated for the longest post.

And yes, I, too, would, without a doubt, nominate uman for longest posts. Everytime I see his avatar next to a message I always think to myself "Oh, boy, let me get my reading glasses for this one, lest I miss a couple words."

Tutorials are not included, because to have a good tutorial, it has to be pretty lengthy, so it doesn't really count. uman's posts, however, are long in and of themselves...

Just messing, but I'm agreeable that Loc definitely gets the "most controversial" hands-down.
