Hi Higgins,

I'm using both your cave packs, but I feel I'm doing something wrong. I make a simpel level, with a few big areas and lots of little turny tunnels.

When it's running, the frame rate takes a big hit. From the look of the wireframe, it seems as if FPSC is rendering the entire level, almost as if I need to surround parts of my tunnels and caves with solid walls to trick the portal system.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Otherwise, a fantastic pack!

@ neilo

I've had that problem only with the following segments:

csg_cave_full, cave_full, csg_cave_top, and cave_top.

Using only the low and mid segments work fine until it gets fixed.

Take a look at the attached Jpeg and you will see that I have a very extensive cave level using just those two segments plus a couple of cutters and a couple of cave entities. I'm quite pleased. There was a little tweaking but not much to write home about.

I don't think I zig zagged enough (it wasn't particularly a maze game anyway) but I do have it covering 4 layers at points.

I will probably get cave pack 1 soon as there are some interesting things I think I want to do utilizing those entities.

I'm in full time work now, so what little time I have when I get home, I want to spend it relaxing. I've told "F l a t l a n d e r" that I will update the segments, but I'm not sure when I will get around to it, ill try to do it this weekend and email everyone who has bought the pack with a patch.
