Lee will soon be looking at any issues people are having. I believe most people are having a very positive experience with X10 and I'd like to hear from them.

You only ever hear the bad Anyhow, the only thing I think TGC should have done before release is adding particle effects. The decal effects look really awful up close.

Holy I need X10 soooooo much. Only $700 of upgrades and I'm there! This would be my quote if I had it: "RAAAGGGGGDDOOOOLLLLLLLL, are you still here? Get X10!"

P.S.
Quote: "Hi, we are looking for some user quotes to use in a PR pack. Could users of X10 please post their quotes in this thread please?

Rick"

Whats a PR pack? Oh and don't take the negative comments to hard, after all, if everyones X10 worked like that, there would be a whole lot more of them! How's Lee holding up with all this bustle going on, FPSC users wanting the famous V1.1 of FPSC, X10 users wanting bugs fixed and modelpacks converted. It must be pretty challenging.

"The Ten X's in X10"

X1 - Beatiful graphics
X2 - Ragdoll
X3 - Easy to use
X4 - Great active community
X5 - The Limit is your imagination(it's my Limpo Arts slogan, but it's true)

please don't use my quotes up there, i was trying to get help - and still need some.

honest quotes for you guys, here is one: "With all the programming languages, tools, and graphics editing required for convention game creation, FPSC X10 allows those such as myself (middle age, no time) create exciting, fun, and graphically stunning games."

AND

"To some, it is not playing the games that people enjoy, but it is exploration of your imagination that we share with artists, authors, and directors that gives us drive to create games - and X10 is a unique piece of software that allows us to do that without the many years of programming experince often required."

Even though I have not received any help from the forums, I still enjoy using fpsc x10. I look forward to the updates. -Gx-

Forgive me, I'm not trying to sound mean...

but you're a few months new here, and you're going to tell someone who's been on the boards for over five years to leave because he made a joke about the company asking for quotes?

Whoo, and I thought I was the one with an attitude problem...

Now if I were an FCX user...which I'm currently not...I'd put something along the lines of:

"Take all the best features of the Game of the Year contenders for the last three years, mix it all into a drag-and-drop interface, and add in media from some of the best modelers around, and you end up with FPS Creator X-10, an engine that is capable of making games that can rival, or in some cases even surpass, the big studios' offerings."

First, I've been around a while, just under a different name, hence, the signature. Second, I never denied the attitude issue; in fact, I got a well-deserved ban for it this week that I just got back from yesterday. The last few weeks are not me at my best, and I'd rather not discuss why. But let's just say this week isn't the first time the mods have had to get onto me for the things I've said.

Let's try to stick to the topic at hand here, aight?

NUB - Pronounced ( NooB )- (1) a slang term for a newcomer to online gaming or an Internet activity. (2) Anyone who doesn't know who Merranvo is. (3) Anyone who doesn't recognize Merranvo in disguise. (4) Non-Useful Body

Some common alteranate spellings...

Newbie
Newb
Nublet
Noob
Nooblet

He isn't Merranvo you noobs!

Dark Coder might be Merry, but Cornett Media sounds more like =ChisB=, but he's not because ChrisB never got banned.

Back to the topic...

"Offering stunning graphics, an easy to use interface, and with models & media included to get you started. What more could you ask for? That's right, it has a great price too!" --- Conjured Entertainment

The one above sounds familiar when I re-read it. I hope it isn't something that was stuck in my head from somewhere.
Maybe I read it on one of TGC ads, or maybe I had 'deja vu'. Maybe I had said the same thing about FPSC.

How about this quote.
"This one works this time, honest." The Game Creators.

I have a better idea, how about using popular catch phrases from TV etc, for the quotes.

"Nothing for a pair, not in this game." - Bruce Foresight. The Price is Right
"Look what you could of won." - Jim Bowen. Bullseye
"You are the weakest link, goodbye." - Anne Robinson. The Weakest Link
"That's right you've won our booby prize, dusty bin." - Ted Rogers. 3-2-1
[href]

Perhaps you could even take catch phrases and change them to fit, that's a sure fire winner.

Good pricing.
Only 5 days shipment since I purchased it.
Smooth and easy to use.
Some crashes and 1 bsod till now.
Too many alien stuff. I'd prefer some more common characters and guns in x10 coming with the basic package.
I hate the fact that my DX9 friends cannot run my games.
Too many resources for nothing are needed to run a game.

In a few words FPSC x10 is a very good FPS creator for the average user but lacks several features and capabilities that could make it be a state of art.

I'm looking forward to future updates.

Overall rating for what I expected: 7.5/10

Hell I thought with fpsc dx10 they would have it working, I was thinking of making a thread to ask if certain troubles from dx9 had been fixed, whats busted still, have they ironed out enemies marching on the spot, walking into walls, followed by marching on the spot, the clipping with dead characters being half in a wall and half out of a wall.

Quote: " I was thinking of making a thread to ask if certain troubles from dx9 had been fixed"

I agree, because that's not what this thread is for.
Besides, most of those 'troubles' are easliy worked around by most people who have learned how to use the engine properly.
But like we already said, that belongs in another thread.

Back on topic...

"What I like most about FPSC X10 are the improvements that were made to the already easy to use FPI scripting language. Creating my characters' AI is easier than I ever imagined. I love it!"
