Did you remember to swap your old bird1.x with the new Birdie.x file, in the FPSC folder?
Did you remember to delete the old .bin and .dbo files for the old bird1.x file?
I'm running x9 v1.07, and it's running like a champ, in fact, if you make these changes (
it'll match the settings I'm using) you should get some really good results:

If you plug in
Plystire's Swarm Zombie Claw script as the aimain, it really makes one scary experience for the player, if you set a flock of these guys in wait.
