Just downloaded model pack 2 for X10 and have run the auto update to v102 and simple games with the default content from the model packs fails to run.

Anyone have any ideas as to cause ? The error is a default "The application has closed" type.

:-(

Went smooth for me. But I did the update first, then I installed the mp. You might reinstall X10, take the update to v102 first, then download the mp.

I've just reinstalled from scratch, testing each step, and as soon as I update to 102, bang, it fails. :-(

Process was a full uninstall, reboot.
Install from DVD again and test. OK
Autoupdate and test. Fail.

Second uninstall, reboot.
Install from DVD again and test. OK
Apply blood & ragdoll patch and test. OK
Install MP1 and test. OK
Install MP2 and test. OK
Autoupdate and test. Fail.

Looks like the 102 patch doesn't like my system.

This could be due to old BIN files used in the older games. Delete all old BIN files and try again. Failing that, email Lee and he'll help.

I have a dumb question. Are you saying there is an update to FPSC X10, or are you talking about the ragdoll/blood update?

Did I miss an update notice?

There is an update to X10. It's now v102. Click 'Check for updates' from your Help menu.

How did you get the X10 ver. for the MPs? There aren't any for MPs 9, 10 and 15!

The version is now V104 which solves the problem in V102/V103 regarding build game and version numbering. Available right now from the auto update system built into FPSC X10.

Is there, or will there be a way to view the version information in X10?

Best.
