Hi,

I have just recieved my copy of FPS Creator x10 and would like to know how to speed up my games I make. It is laggy when I test game. I would like a solution without buying a new graphics card.

My Specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 2.10 GHz
2046MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS 512MB

Thanks in advance.

P.S I love FPS Creator! lol

You will need a new graphics card, the reccomended is at least a 8800 be that a GTS/GT or GTX. I doubt there is any other solution.

Yes. The GeForce 8400 GS is the weakest card in the (8th) series.

Maybe an overclock would help, maybe not. But a new graphics card would be best, think of it this way, the 8400 has only 16 shader stream processor's, well the 8800 has 128.

the 8400 works, yes. However since its a pretty weak card its not recommended to use it. I wouldn't go lower then 8600 if you actually want your level to work fine with most effects.

*cough* The 8400 GS is actually relatively powerful, i myself use it. The thing that is disappointing is that you need to update the driver through "Windows Update", otherwise the game will not run and will annoy the computer a lot for not running the program.

First, I wanna shoot Hale. Then, I wanna shoot me Menial mate. Then, I wanna shoot meself. Then, I wanna play Resistance with my dead crap Ragdoll physics...
