I started this thread just to get an inventory on who else is stuck on version 1.00 or 1.01. That way we can work towards a solution with TGC.

Before you list yourself as being unable to update try these steps

1. reinstall fpsc x10, do not install the blood pack
2. delete the file "mature.ini" from your x10 directory (if it exists, and I don't know if this helps btw)
3. Start up x10 and check for updates, but do not download (stop here if you still can't get the update)
4. install the bloodpack
5. start up x10 again and download the update

If you still can't get the update to work then your in the same boat as I am. I think TGC should work towards a solution for this.

You forgot to change the properties of X10 to run as administrator. That's what kept me from getting updates. Try that.

I turned UAC off long ago. I tried it anyway but I don't think it makes a difference without UAC.

Good point though.
