Started at texturing, and no the uv map isn't great but it is my first character unwrap(allot of first today isn't it?) and at least there isn't that much stretching(barely visible).
This is what I have so far: And no the background color isn't originally like that and the borders aren't really there, just made to make it easier to see for you guys, because it is quite dark.

Oh and I do it this way, first the basic colors, then the overlays(gotta have those) then some tweaking and coloring, and then lightning(lightning being the place were all your geometry comes out) and then I will try to make a normal map with that texture

Sorry for not updating you guys for awhile but I have just allot of school work and I don't have time to model that much, but when I get the time I am thinking of modeling another troll character from a great reference I found online.
And I quit texturing my Grustof because honestly, texturing isn't really my good point...
