am i missing something here or does it not replace the defines within arrays

define ANIM_START, 1

dim animTable(10, 3)
animTable(0, ANIM_START) = 0

doesn't work because it leaves the ANIM_START in the code and it becomes a variable with value 0.

This is very stupid... It makes the defines almost worthless

or am i missing something here.

I didn't know DarkBASIC reconizged comma's in commands. Thats prolly your problem.
