You obviously didn't read both boxes when you purchased X10 because if you did you would have read the part that said "you will need a Direct X10 compatible Video Card", your video card is not a direct X10 video card that is why you cannot preview your game. you will need a Geforce 8000 or 9000 series video card to run X10. Also ATI 2000 or 3000 series video cards will work also

The editor works on an X9 card, the game only on X10.

There needs to be something on the ordering page, or somewhere to remind people that just because you have Vista, it does not mean you have a Direct X 10 compatible card.

Like Chupa cabra, posted you will need one of those cards. Try the 8600 for a good price and well ranged card if you want to stick with NVidia (or if you have the cash, go for the 8800)

If I were you, i'd go out and buy a 8800GTX insted of a 9000. The 9000's arn't that much stronger than the 8800GTX.

BOOM!!!!!! HEAD SHOT!!!
