Why do you want a laptop?
A stationary computer is way more better and is also much cheaper.
I think you can google it.

ForceWare 163 = Old! 169 and 174 are newer and faster, and are just as stable for me.

Also, don't get a laptop. Even if you travel a lot, get a good desktop and a fair laptop.

However, If you realy want a laptop to play games. search for hypersonic PC systems. for about 1 to 4 grand, you can have an 8800 in your laptop. Cost me four thousand for a 200 raid gb hd, 2 gig of ram, webcam, duel core 2.7 ghz, and nvidia 7800 graphics card. check out the link.

Disclaimer: weighs about 12 pounds and in 0.935in. thick.

I'm in pain after reading that..! For $4000 you could build a system with most of the best hardware available these days.. I hate laptops!

For those of us who travel and can't drag a desktop everywhere, laptops are great.

Alienware has the best laptop for full compatibility with X10.

Since Alienware is owned by Dell, their prices are very high.

Yep, I build my rig with Dell... Same rig with Alienware was $1000 more... Funny I didn't know Dell owned Alien and much more expensive...

Dell owning them doesn't mean the same quality.
I think Ford owns Astin Martin and Volvo, but I'd hardly say that owning one is like owning the other.

I've not seen many complaints about Alienware hardware. However, I have with Dell. That's not an endorsement. Just sharing that my preferences in laptops are Alienware and Thinkpad. However my experiences were only with Alienware and IBM, not the current owners Dell and Lenovo.

You can get a good deal on a Dell in their Outlet.
They may be scratch & dents, or refurbished, but they are tested and gauranteed.

I saw this laptop for $799.00 and it is X10 ready.
Of course that still leaves you with $200 more if you want a bigger hard drive.
Anyway, you can get a laptop that will run FPSC X10 for less than a grand.
Good luck on getting the GeForce 8800 GTX in there.
