On the other contest thread, yeroc wanted to know where the logo contest was, so I'll host it here. If you would like to enter, all you have to do is create a logo for Tristan Craft. These logos will be voted on by the team and then the winner will win a copy of the game. The prize is less than the other contest as this one isn't as high of an importance to the playability of the game. The logo must be 500x500 pixels for a large logo, 120x120 by a small logo. If you would like another size, email me and I'll see if your size is acceptable. Entries must be posted by Friday, April 11 at 11:59PM PST. Voting will take place on the following weekend and the logo will be finalized on the Sunday night. Good luck in your designs.

The winner is Nickydude! Congrats!

I'll help in with this, seeming as im on the team.

I think we should be looking for a alantic aqua styled logo, maybe blue or somthing?
Its up to you for the choice, and Also may I recall that there is a gem? a Gem that allows him to breath under water?
So that may be a good start.

I'll whip up some drafts to help you guys, but you cant use them drafts, remember that, only basing off them.

-Edit-

Draft one

The gem is more of a pendant on a necklace. It doesn't play that big of a role in the game. Nickydude is on to the right idea, but the gem doesn't really fit. The style I'm looking for is something along the lines of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Pirates of the Caribbean or National Treasure. That's the style that's being done for the theme music, so that would be cool if the logo matched the theme music. Just a suggestion. There is no specific program for making this, as long as you can get it into a .jpg file format. A blue color scheme would be preferred, but if it doesn't go along with the suggested theme, then don't use it.

These entries are pretty good, guys! Another suggestion: Add some ancient looking rubble into it. It is in Atlantis, after all...

I like all the desgines, Nicky aint too far off*Cough*Alantis*Cough* Not modern sci-fi*Cough*.
And yerocs looks nice, maybe some more grit and dirt and Maybe the gem glows with blue lines of light, overall I would vote for yeroc right now, but more detail looks like it should be needed.

Candles looks a little "naked", because of the use of a few colours, I can see room for inpovement, but I like the whale, maybe some more longer shadows and darkness.

Keep it up guys!

I would try to take the gem out of the pics as the gem doesn't really play that big of a role. If you want something to put in the background, put in a destroyed Greek temple...

One thing that I've noticed with almost every entry, is that they are not grungy. This game is about a civilization destroyed by greed and hatred. It would make a bit of sense to hint at that with the logo. Just a suggestion.

quick question, what kinda gun will be in it. I'm trying to imcorperate a gun into logo. So, what weapon? A Beretta would be nice (And look cool). Maybe an AK? Just name it, I'll look it up on google and put it into the poster. For now I'll just create the base until you get back to me, THANK!

Wow! You even got the concept for the main character right. Damn you and your ability to guess what we are going to do with the game. That one was top notch! Thanks for the entry, Orrion.

To everyone else, Orrion has the idea. If you are still interested in this idea, do what he's doing.

Back at Orrion, I did realize that Tristan will bring a weapon with him. Might as well make it a Beretta. It's logical as it's easily available.

Ahh...

If the pictures are going to get better and better (from mine). I think it would be good to add a TGC MP (Or Xbox 360) prize as well. It would get more people - Xbox 360 - into the contest - Xbox 360 - and more higher quality stuff.
