Inspired by BiggAdd's tutorial on creating wrapping textures, I've made a few. I expect to make more every week or so, so keep checking back!

Every few weeks I'll update the zip in this post with some new textures, that way I don't have to post every time I have a new one

These images are (mostly) tileable in all directions, sizes in powers of two, and completely free to use. They're simply pictures I have taken around my home and made tileable in Photoshop.

Want to make your own tileable textures? Check out BiggAdd's tutorial in the Newsletter Issue 64.

Anyway, here's what you'll get in the download:

Part 1: (5/11/08)
Ceiling Stucco (1024x1024)
Ceiling Stucco (512x512)
Rough Pavement (512x512)
Rough Brick (377x273)
Smooth Brick (512x512)

Part 2: (5/16/08)
Blue Fabric with Flowers (256x256)
Simple Concrete (512x512)
Synthetic Rope (256x2048)
Rough Brick (256x256) (Same as in Part 1, different size)
Stuccoed Brick (512x512)

Part 3: (5/30/08)
Playing Card Back (512x512)
Chain Link Fence (256x256 w/ transparency)
Wooden Slats (512x512, Incomplete, see below)
Parchment Wallpaper (512x512)

Here's another. It's a rough asphault surface, good for a country road maybe? It's infinitely better than the last one, anyway

Edit: See top post to download all textures.

Update: Now the asphault image is exactly 512x512, more useful as a texture that way.

Ok, since it seems I'm going to be turning out so many of these, I'm going to put all of them in a zip file up on the top post. I'll add a new section to it every few weeks, thus saving you guys a lot of downloading and me a lot of posting.

Bump! I've added 4 more textures to the download.

However, I've been having some problems with one of them. If you download the zip and look in Part 3, there is a texture called INC_WoodenSlats. I'm having some problems with this one because in the original picture, the top was much darker than the bottom. Does anyone know of an easy way I could fix this?

The easiest way that I can think of to fix that would be to use the rectangular marque tool and select some of the wood above it and copy it down to cover the messed up wood. Otherwise you would have to select the messed up part and play with it in curves or brightness and contrast. Hope you understood that haha, I'm not good at explaining things over the internet.
