Car wash

Some of you may know me from the WIP board for making Marvin the Magician and the current WIP: Vision.
If this is the case then you will also know that I am currently sitting exams and have suspended Vision until the 15th of June.

However, due to a few evenings I've had free, I was able to put together this game in the space of what must be 5 hours all told.

The concept is very simple and the game isn't really intended as a commercial product; it is intended more as a fun game just to see if I could program it.

So see what you think and download it:
Car_wash.zip

Some ingame screenshots:

A clean truck.

The main menu.

Me cleaning a car.

Controls:
Left and right arrowkeys to move the camera around the vehicle.
Mouse to move the sponge over the vehicle and scrub off the bubbles.

This was made possible by the following:
Paul Johnston (for Sparky's DLL)
Joe Berkley (for coming up with the idea and providing some of the textures)
MS_Paint (to create some of the textures and all of images)
Deled LITE (to create the models)
Code Surge (to program it)
DBP (to compile it all)

Enjoy playing Car wash.

If when trying to download the file, you see:
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. then don't worry, it just means either that I'm still uploading it, or the Homestead server is temporarily down. If this should occur, try again in a little bit.

Haha, original idea! That was pretty neat. Only thing was the music was so annoying!

There's so much more you could add to an idea like this one.

Hehe yeh I know the music sucked, I just needed something to put in there for a bit of edge to the game.

And yeh, I would do more to it, but it is just a game I made quickly with no real intention to make it anything special.

@ All
I've uploaded a new version that means you can press escape and get back to the main menu after washing a vehicle. The newer version also has one more vehicle and quieter music.

This is the only update the game will recieve as it was a quick project.

Wow this looks original. I admit it does sound really ridiculous a car washing game. It would be fummy if simething was released like this for ps3 with really cool graphics

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them

Yeh, its all thanks to Joe though. - In the few recent months he's been working with me and on his own sometimes, he's thought of more original ideas for projects than I have in the 8 years I've been making games. xD

Awesome! Your stuff is so much more fun than mine that it's quite depressing. Will play tomorrow. Got to go to bed now. This should be a bonus mode in the next Gran Turismo.

That was cool. Nice design of vehicles too. Kind of fusturistic and otherworldly. Nice.

There was also alot of other stupid "veichles" suggested... We didnt use them as cleaning a train, a boat, or even a john didnt seem... like a smart idea.

Hehe, yeh, nice idea... but unfortunately that wouldn't comply with the rules of TGC forums. - Nor would it comply with Soharix's age rating which currently stands less than 18 (because I'm not over 18 years old yet...) lol
