Im writing a game for the retro-remakes contest. It runs fine in DarkEdit but when I make an .exe the resulting program runs about 1/2 speed.

Ive tried doubling the sync rate but that doesnt help.
I can't compile it it Dark Basic itself as it uses loads of types.

Ive got an Athlon 2k, 512meg ram, radeon 9000 128meg graphics and windows XP.

Any suggestions or reasons why this would happen?
Could be the end of a decent little game

Wasn't that contest over a long time ago, or is there another one that I wasn't aware of?
