Here's the link to the Demo, it should work fine I hope
http://hosted.filefront.com/Krowsnest618/

I am still working on Planet Hell (demo help would b nice still), but I sorta started this as a side project and decided to place it as a game. So far I only have level 1/2 done, but the game probably wont span more than 4 levels.

The little story is a Large fort was build by the 3rd Reich around a small town in Germany. It was thought to be the largest Concentration camp of the Holocaust, but it is actually The building place of an atomic bomb.

In 1945, right after The surrender of the axis powers, the remaining ultra-nationalists and nazi supporters hulled up in this Fort, finishing the bomb to launch as revenge to American soil.

You are part of a small squad who disperse throughout the town to get the bomb and disarm it.

Level 1 is a small infiltration of the base, as negotiation proves to be useless.

Level 2 is in the town, which is strongly fortified by large, concrete walls.

Level 3 is continueing through the town, finding an entrance to the main bomb-storage bunker

level 4 is finding and disabling the bomb

Here's work so far, this is only counting level design...

Key:
Done-
Working on-
Nothing so far- ic:cross]

Level 1: Greeting party:
Level 2: Lockdown:
Level 3: Flying solo:
Level 4: no name yet:

Screenies to follow

Screenie 1: an above view of part of the town, it was bombed previously so some buildings are...meh

Looks nice. Just I would like editor shot, because I can't determine how big the level is.

Thx deathead, , but if you go to the video link it shows the level in editor (the skip in it really doesn't skip anything, just fraps is timed. I'll say this level isn't that big for an outdoor level, but it isn't that small either

Overall level design is very nice, it's pretty detailed and good lighting. From the video I noticed that alot of the enemies were a bit unresponsive, so you should download airslides AI and avoid waypoints. That's only if you want better AI though.

What sort of computer are you running? It's a very big map although im guessing most entities are static.

I know, my AI is bad lol, I'll b sure to download the AI (unless its like a mod or something, sorry I just don't want to accidentally destroy my system if I do something wrong)

My Computer is...
- A Dell E510
-I have a gig of Ram
-I have a nice video card though, A Geforce 8600GT

Yeah, all entities are static

Ok, here's my first screenie of Level 1, it's the shortest level where your group enters the "City of Fire", as they'll call it. This is looking back from where you face when you spawn

This looks really nice! You're using stock media in a very good way, and the level looks like a really good FPS level, because you get that feeling, you know, like it's a big level with many places!

3 screen = I like

Yellow lights = no. I'd try to make the lights more of a beige.

wow, thanks, The levels aren't that open for a game using outdoor environment, but it does give a sense of the world expanding beyond what you see (which was the objective)

Thank djmaster, your new game (unknown world I think it is) looks great too.

I'll be working on a trailer for the game soon, I'm just going to make the main holding-room for the bomb, then that should be enough for a trailer

Here's probably my last screen b4 I start working on the trailer, its just another small part of level 3

You can see the the sunset, and In most outdoor parts, light comes from that direction (and I still am still in the process of making the light less yellow-ish)

Wow I like this, reminds me of Medal of Honor.

Great use of stock media too.

The surrounding walls look a tad too close though.

Great overall

lol the walls are SUPPOSE to be tight around (and from a far distance they look Pitch black even when I increase the intensity). There is a part around Town hall that I'm about to make which is going to be pretty open (I hope).

gonna try out thanks

EDIT: tried it out,I LOVE IT SIMPLY AMAZING! but the AI is pretty bad,i think you should use darkai main script beacause some enemies didnt even pull out their gun so i killed them before, the game is a bit easy so you should add for guns to make some more damage, also theres too much ammo and health,i always had over 100 bullets and health, also download simon benges ww2 guns with mp6 hands,it will add some more realism to it

I know I know about the AI lol the demo wasn't too spruced up besides on level design.

I'll change the ai but whenever I use airlsides AI the game lags for some reason, I'll try dark ai and maybe get those mp6 arms (though I would prefer some military-sleeves on the arms)
