It was Ok, just that I wanted to program video games, 3d FULL and FAST. python was 2D easy, and I guesss fast.

C++ was what I always wanted to use, but I couldn't find a free compiler or engine. when I found darkGDK, i switched.

Ah, yes. I see it. Happened to me too. You have a subsurf modifier on.

Just click apply, and then export it with the setting you have and it will work. Direct X can't do subsurf in models, sorry about that, forgot to apply it before.

Oh, I know, you have to set the culling off.

dbSetObjectCull ();

That was my bad, I made the normals face away in the caves.

your models were really good, much better then all of mine.

Could I see the multi sync part of the program? I want to see how it all works. Also, do you want to work as a team? I mean, it seems we both want to do the same thing, and we both help eachother out.....

It is Okay if you say no, I just thought we could probably finish the game in like half the time if we worked together......

How did you get that texture to work???? I am so amazed, I have been trying for so long now...

Ok, so now we are a team! Do you have an IM account? It would be easier and faster to talk that way.

Also, we should do that so nobody steals out stuff, you never know who could be out there.

Thanks, that will help so much, now I can have my original terrain have texture.

Hey guys, I've been itching to make an MMOFPS. The game I am currently making is simply a warm up for my FPS.

I can help with your game for a while if you'd like. I can design the skeleton with you guys and get you started on your game. That will be a great warm up for the complicated things to come. And it'll be fun too.

We can start off with a simple login/register form through the game. Then you'll need port forwarding for each connection connecting through the server. We can use Winsock Server or multisync for that.

Then we start connecting 3D models. And finally, we'll have a "game" where people can move around in a city. That can work as your skeleton.

Hey that be great if you want to help out

my email is 12gaugebill@live.com

I like the idea of creating the skeleton.

But well have to find someone who can have the server running 24/7, I would like to use multisync becasue i hear its better and easier to work with. But i donnot know anything about winsock only a little about multisync
