While racking my brain to think of a new idea for a comp, i decided to settle on the idea of a FPSC character comp.

Rules: Must be 1024/1024 texture or higher. You can use the fpsc skeleton, or you can make your own. The more complex the animations are, the more points you get. Poly limit is 2750. Must be in modern day category.

Judges score using:
Texture quality: /10
Model quality: /10
Animations: /10
Compatability with stock weapons: /5
Use of polys: /10

Judges:
1: Me
2: - Lt Tatters
3; - Gizmoguy
4: - Deathead
5: - Peter Gee

Prizes:
All who enter:

1st place: Toasty's Flash Pack
Luke's Abandoned City Pack

2nd place: Toasty's Flash Pack

3rd place: Daniel (Wright) Alien Pack

You have till the 1st July. Good Luck.

i really would like to see this comp get off the ground so i have made a basic base mesh of a human .
this can be edited by you and made into your own FPSC character .

all i ask is that if you use it you give me credit for the base mesh .if anyone wants to use it to get them started just email me and i will send you it .

cheers henry

Daniel wright 2311, when are you going to stop using generated meshes and stop lying to yourself. Learn to model properly. I know you do use a generator because I've seen models you have actually modelled and they look how they should from a beginner, newbish.

higgans, there is shuch a thing called inproving, what you have seen is stuff i did when i was trying to learn to model humans, i got real good real fast, as far as moding this model, yes i did. stop being so jealous, ooooh, and i can prove it can you?

edit, you know what im doing, another tutt, this is so stupid, i have to do tutts to prove my work. well then i guess i will, but its not to prove you wrong higgans, its to prove that anyone can do this with no problem, im also going to show how to rig, texture and animate, put the right key numbers for the .fpe file, the whole works. in three days ill have a new tutorial on how to make a good character in cb model pro.

erm... not to sound rude, but that looks nothing like a human. And why are you entering a zombie, the theme was decided on modern day, not horror.

The Toasty: All models by Daniel are from CBPro as you can guess from the crafting of the model. Ask him to post a wireframe if its all triangles than he made it in CBPro.
