i explained several way to make Lip-sync and a nice movies for our game in this forum and now I want to introduse other way that help us to make a real movies for our games. A problem that we have for make our game movies are .x files. imaging that you have an Officer.x in you'r game and you want to make a movie that Main Player kill him ... So how do you want to make it as a cut scence ?
I want to introduse Carrara 6 for this work.
6 is lastest version of Carrara Studio that added import\export .x files to this version and it can to solve all of our problem now.
Look at this image :

I imported an Officer.x in the Carrara and I moved two hands of him up by Carrara ( When you import you'r character .x all of bones are ready to work and you can to make new bones for you'r characters) And main player want to kill him by shutgun.
Carrara 6 is a rich software that solve all of you'r problems for make movies.
Go to this and search for carrara 6 : www.daz3d.com

The life is standby ... So decide for you'r target and then you'll see that you are arrived and get it.

Wow, so this allows use to animate clips and then we can compile them in a movie editor(sms8 or wmm for me.) and then we will have our own cutscenes, awsome find 3dmajid!

--edit--
Its pricy, but I could just use a 3d moddeling tool.

Yeah, well if you think that Carrara 6 is too expensive, then you may want to consider one of their other products.
Carrara 3D Express is only $89 for the download version.
Here is a link to the comparison chart.

What to use as a cutscene?
Yes you can just place a "Story Zone" and select the file

If you shoot a shotgun like that, you won't get a direct hit even standing that close. And you are really really going to hurt your arm!

You can use DAZ Studio, it's free and allows animation.
I myself use Poser.

okay so i was told that you can do cutscenes and stuff with Windows Movie Maker...but like, you cant actually "make movies" with movie maker. all i need is a simple, non expensive, or free program that will either let me animate something so i can put it in movie maker then edit it out and save it as a avi file, OR let me specifically make a cutscene/animation for my FPSC game. and do not say blender or milkshape because i tried them and have no clue how to use them and i have no patience for tutorials.

If you have no patience for tutorials or are unwilling to learn then you can forget about animating anything.I don't care what you use.Animating is toward the high end of the modeling spectrum meaning it takes some skill and practice to even pull off (especially in FPSC) and even more to make it look decent.
If you want an inexpensive modeler that allows you to animate your stuff then it's Milkshape...whether you want to hear it or not (and the GUI is still a LOT friendlier than Blender's).
You are going to have to put some effort into your stuff if you want good results.
There may be some "magic" modeling programs (see Sketchup) but there's no magic animating program. If there were I am sure we would all be a lot happier.

since it seems like it will take a while to download, seeing as how im still only on 22%... how does it work??? do you have to like model things in other programs then import them in then you can move them around and stuff??? or does it give you models and you can move them?? howz it work??

No, it comes with alot of models thats the down side you cant import your own unless you purchase the 3d converter but how it works is
you pick the
Set
then the people you want to use
then there is a list of animations to choose from like run, swim, hit ect...
then choose music, fog and other stuff you can also purchase media from there, its sorta like model packs you buy models music and stuff then when you open iclone you have a bunch of new actors ect...

kay 1st of all: i dont even really mind that you cant import your own models, cuz when it comes to models and me, we dont get along. (maybe because i dont have any clue how to use a modelling program)

2nd of all: i love it already. havent used it yet, but by what your telling me, i think i'll love it, and most likely buy it.

"Don't forget that CrazyTalk! can make your stock characters say whatever you want."

That can be handy for close up shots when the characters are talking.
The resolution in the example is low, because I wanted the file size small for the forum.
Better quality means bigger file sizes, of course.

Please notice that only Carrara 6 can to import or export .x files. So don't buy Carrara 5 !
I have 3DSMAX 10 but you need to a plugin for import .x files and you only can to export you'r models to .x So you can't import them.
Main talk is this that you can import .x files and move them.
Carrara 6 is a powerful software that you can to :
- Make you'r favorite figure or character by DAZ or Poser files and select cloth or other things in Carrara 6.
- Make you'r favorite masterpiece landscape !
- Use from really objects in objects browser.
- Make fug, clouds, fire very easy and pro.
- Use you'r animation to make a professional special effects in Adobe After Effects as some of movies.
- Import/Export .3DS,.x,.obj,.pz3(Poser Files) and other file types.
- Make you'r models textures very easy and pro.
- Make animation movies.
- Enjoy from a real render engine.
And other ...
3DSMAX is a max software and complex, You can't to make landscape very easy as Carrara 6 and also you can't make you'r character very easy as Carrara 6 with really bones!
And in end you can't to import .x files.
Of course don't forget that you must try if you want to make a nice game with nice movies.

The life is standby ... So decide for you'r target and then you'll see that you are arrived and get it.

Try daz studio it is a high end animation software that is free. as far as I know 3ds max does not support direct x. import but you can use fragmotion then milkshape to convert to a usable obj. file in max.

I prefer Carrara6 PRO and Poser PRO versions that are very powerful.I can't download daz3d because my internet speed is low.
