i have 2000 and it happens every now and then. just get used to it. each time i run my programs i hit f3,f4, f5. no lost work, but it's still a pain in the ass.

also... sometimes when i exit DBC113 my rig freezes and the screen turns white. just have to deal with it.

your probably not cleaning up after yourselves and corrupting what memory you had left on the system.

undimming arrays
clearing textures
deleting objects

I always find it's not a good idea to run cheap sound and video based programs before DarkBASIC - They tend to leave DirectDraw running open (which DB needs big time) and/or DirectShow/WMP/whatever is used to actually decode the AVI files. I find I can sometimes fix this by running the program again, running Windows Media Player, closing the program then closing Windows Media Player.

Check your startup area of your computer - Startup Manager is a free utility that does this well - for these programs.

i've got 512megs so i don't think it's a problem w/ "what memory you had left on the system".
